Around 5:00a.m. you heard a knock on the door. You rubbed your eyes, you only ended up with almost 2 hours of sleep before the disruption. You opened the door and it was Jamil. He looked exhausted from staying up all night from karaoke and magic carpet riding. Despite his exhaustion he looked still well kept together. His hair was nicely done and his outfit was still in tact.
"Do you want to see the sunrise with me?" Jamil asked. You were surprised by this.
"Sure let me just put on a different outfit," You replied.
You shut the door and started to panic. This is the first time it wasn't just the three of you. You searched through your closet and found a cute purple floral top. You paired this top with a white skirt and converse high tops. You decided to do pigtails as a change of pace.
You opened the door and Jamil was leaning up against a wall waiting for you. His eyes shifted and did a double take.
"You look pretty." Jamil complimented.
You thanked him and you guys started to walk into the treasury to retrieve the magic carpet. You looked over and noticed how Jamil's eyes always shifted to look at you. And the minute he notices that you saw him, he would shift back to looking at a different direction.
"Let's get going," Jamil suggested.
You nodded and hopped on the magic carpet. As Jamil was stirring it you noticed how the sky started to becoming lighter out. The sunrise was so gorgeous the way the pinks, yellows, and purples combined was so stunning that you forgot Jamil was there.
"I am glad that you like it," Jamil stated. His eyes start to shift to look at you. You started to get apprehensive. What do I do? What do I say? How will Kalim think of this? But instead of what you were thinking about, it turned out something was in your hair. He scooted over and picked the leaf out of your hair. You nodded and thank him.
While you were gazing at the sunrise, Jamil used the leaf excuse to look at you. His eyes never once looked at the pretty sky. His eyes were only set on you. You are his world even though you cannot be his... He starts to get more and more protective to hide his true feelings, so take this day as something to cherish before it is all over...
