It has been two months and Draven hasn't opened his eyes. Hasn't moved a finger. Hasn't shown any signs that he's alive besides the machines helping him breathe. I swear there's no signs of life. There's no signs of him waking up any time soon. Newt said he's stable and his tests are showing his brain is okay. He has brain activity. He just can't seem to figure out why he hasn't woken up yet. I've been sitting at his bed side for two months. If it weren't for me being pregnant or for my other two children.
I would have died already. He's been taken far too quickly away from me. I wish I could heal him so I could see those beautiful green eyes, or his snarky remarks, or his cute laugh. Hell I'd rather hear him yell at me than to have to hear his monitors every second of every minute of every hour. My mom has pulled me from his room to shower and to eat.
While I am in my underwear coming into the closet for some clothes; I heard everyone yelling. I quickly throw on his tee shirt and my flip flops. I ran down the hall to see what the screaming was about. When I walk into his room; my sight is on those forest green eyes staring back at me. My smile drops when he started to speak.

"When did she get back?" He yells pointing in my direction.

"She's been back for a while Draven. Don't you remember?" Kaiser spoke up.

"No, what do you mean?" He says confused.

Before we could even answer Newt threw everyone out of his room. It felt like eternity before he came back out to explain to us what happened.

"It seems Draven has lost some memories. He doesn't remember getting attacked, he doesn't remember Mac coming back, he doesn't remember being married to her, he doesn't....." Newt started to explain.

"He doesn't remember Eve or Blade." I finish for him sadly. Newt nods his head.

"I am not for sure when his memory will come back. If it does, will all of it come or just parts of it? It's uncertain. All we can do is try to help him remember." Newt says softly.

I started to play with my wedding rings. I keep twirling them around my finger. How can you tell your children their father doesn't remember them at all?

3rd Person POV:

What started out as a sunny bright day turned into a dark, cold, stormy afternoon. Except that wasn't the only storm in this small town. There was a storm brewing in McKenzie. There was a storm brewing inside Draven. Mac didn't go into his room that evening, she didn't feel wanted. She stayed sitting outside by his door and listened from the outside.

"What do you mean I have children with Mac?" He yells

"Calm down Draven." Kaiser says

"We.... You mean to tell me... Mac and I are married?" He screams.

Tears start to fall down her face. She rubs her hand over her small belly.

"She's pregnant with my third child!" His voice roars.

"Why can't I remember any of this?" He cries out.

"I married my best friend. I married the love of my life. I have children with her. Yet I can't remember doing so. Why?" He cries.

Everyone slowly starts to help him piece back what happened. When they started to explain they got married in June 15th. On his and their twins' birthday. How he was hit in the back of his head with a steel pipe and shot in his chest Mac decided to waltz in.

"I killed Tank to keep from losing you." Mac's voice was so quiet. Draven's eyes went the size of saucers.

"There's no way the sweet innocent Mac killed someone." He mumbled out.

"It's true. She shot him in his heart. Tank shot you in the chest. Luckily you wore your bulletproof vest. However, it doesn't protect your skull. He was about to put a bullet in it. She killed him to protect you. She killed two people that day to protect all of us." Link tells his son.

Mac turns to the door to head out.

"I have to go check on Everleigh and Blade." She whispers out. Before she stepped out of the door his voice rang out.

"Can I see my children?"

She wipes the back of her hand on her cheek and nods her head yes. She found her children in the media room and grabbed both their hands. She led them to their father's room. Before she opened the door she turned to her children.

"Your dad isn't the exact same. He can't remember anything because he has a brain injury. Give him some time to collect his memories back. Don't take anything to heart. Your daddy loves you two to death." She tries to explain to them.

"Okay mummy." Both of them say at the same time.
She opens the door and both of them follow their mom inside.

"Daddy?" Eve asks.

"Hey Princess!" Draven calls out to his daughter.
He opens his arms up and she hauls ass to her father. Blade stands in his spot waiting for his dad to notice him.

"Dad?" Blade calls out. Draven looks up from hugging his princess to seeing a spitting image of himself. He smiles a ginormous smile.

"Hey bud!" He says nodding his head for his son to come over. Blade climbs onto the bed and curls up next to his dad.

"I know you can't remember us dad. You don't have to pretend." Everleigh whispers to her father.

"Maybe one day you'll remember but it's okay daddy. You don't have to be strong and you don't have to pretend." Blade mumbles into his dad's side.

Draven's eyes begin to water and he feels ashamed because he can't remember his own children. Soon after the two children fell asleep on their dad. Mac's mom Kate and Jolene take the two sleeping babies while Mac walks behind them. They place them on their dad's bed in his room in the clubhouse. Mac laid down on his couch in his room and cried herself to sleep. Thinking of ways to help bring his memories back. If only she knew it only took one item to begin it back. Than all of this wouldn't have lasted so long.
