It was early morning, the start of a new day. I was sitting on one of the infirmary beds waiting for a mission. Due to my last mission I had to take a few weeks off to heal all my wounds. I look out the window that is behind my bed. The sun had almost fully risen, a beautiful orange, yellow heau in the sky.

I saw a crow flying towards the window.knowing who it was I opened the window. "Caw! Caw!" The crow cawed as he moved to the night stand. "Caw! New mission! New mission! Tokyo! Tokyo! You are to travel around Tokyo! Caw!"

"Alright." I exclaimed as I got up from the bed, grabbed Nezuko's box and headed out.

I ran down the stairs and into the outside. I immediately felt the warmth of the sun hit me, the cool breeze brushed against my face, the sweet morning smell.

"Tanjiroooooo!" Someone suddenly clung onto me, turning to face the door again. I look in to see Inosuke running full charge at us. As a last minute save I dive out of the way with Zenitsu, who was the one who clung to me.

"Zenitsu! Inosuke! Calm! I need to get going!" I exclaimed as I pulled Zenitsu up from the ground. Zenitsu shed more tears as Inosuke seemed to be mad.

"I'll fight you when you get back!" Inosuke yelled before head butting a tree.

I shake my head before jogging off. "Bye!" I heard them yell bye back before I jumped away.

I land in a secluded area before taking the wooden box off my back. "Nezuko." I whisper as I pull open the wooden box door to see Nezuko wide awake. "I'm going to trust you Nezuko, search around the area and as soon as you see the threat then come find me alright." I tell Nezuko as she crawls out, she seems to nod in agreement.

The two of us went separate ways, worry came over me when I was too far away to smell her. After a few minutes of looking around I went back to the clear area, Nezuko nowhere in range. "Nezuko!" I called out, but not even her scent was near. "Nezuko!" I yelled for her, pure fear taking over. I ran in the direction she went, hoping to track her scent. Found her! I thought as I smelled her scent. No, that's not just her scent. I thought as my face contorted to horror. It's her blood!

I moved faster, her scent getting stronger and stronger as I got closer. It started fading, her scent randomly started fading. That only has one reason. I gathered all my strength and blasted off, coming to a stop when I approached her. I looked around and that's when I saw it.

Nezuko's body laying down on the floor, she was slowly disintegrating. Above her was this female demon slayer, holding a baby blue sword. She had dark brown hair, dark brown eyes and a baby blue haori. She had a smug smile.

"That was easy enough. She could barely fight. How did she cause this whole problem?" She said before looking towards me. "Well we can head back to base now, the problem has been solved, just don't take the credit alright." She put her sword up before walking off. I just stood there, the only thing left of Nezuko was a bit of her kimono. I walk forward and grab the scrap of cloth. "Come on!" The random girl exclaimed. She grabbed my wrist and started pulling me towards the mansion. I didn't speak. What was I to say, I just saw that she killed my younger sister. My last family member. My everything. The reason I am doing this in the first place. My life or death.

She continued dragging me while babbling on about how easy it was to kill the 'demon' aka my harmless, defenseless, baby sister. I just looked down and soon enough I smelled the wisteria.

"Ara~ Ara~ That was fast." Shinobu greeted us.. We were early. We failed. I failed. I let my family down, what kind of older brother am I?

"Yes we finished it! It was quite easy if you ask me." The girl boated, now going on and on about how easy it was.
