Best day ever

I became a hashira a week ago. It's kinda hard to get used to, I'm almost always on missions and all of the demons that I face are strong and a bit scary. Even with all the hashira it's hard to get used to the new people. There are nine hashira including myself, they are all guys except me and one other. I luckily already know one of them, his name is Rengoku Kyojuro, he helped train me before he became a hashira. The next one is Kocho Shinobu, she is the one other girl and quite small but beautiful. Then there is Shinazugawa Sanemi, he is so hot with all of his scars but he has quite a temper. There is also Uzui Tengen, he is really cool and really big. As well as Himajime Gyomei, he is bigger than Uzui and blind. Tomioka Giyuu and Tokito Muichiro, they are quiet and no one knows much of them but they are beautiful as well. Then finally there is Iguro Obanai, he lets me talk to him, he has a pet snake and is a tad bit smaller than me.

"Kanroji!" I heard someone call so I turned their direction.

"Rengoku-san!!" I ran over to him with a lot of excitement. "Do you know what day it is!!"

"Indeed I do!" Rengoku exclaimed, his hands on his hips and his usual smile resting on his face.

"Eeek!" I did a little jump, my hands to my face with a little blush. "Well I got to go!!" I waved bye as I ran off.

I was running to my estate, the love estate, so I can throw a little party if others want to come, mainly the Rengoku family. I saw my estate in the distance so I slowed down to walk the test of the way. It was a calming walk. The wind had a slight breeze, the sun was out and shining bright. The trees blew in the wind. The grass and flowers seemingly glowing with beauty. I was walking on a narrow dirt path that was surrounded by trees and flowers.

"Kanroji!" Someone called out to me.

I stopped walking and turned around. I saw Iguro jogging at me. Once he was in front of me, he was holding his knees, trying to catch his breath.

"Iguro-san!?" I yelled frantically. "I'm sorry! Were you following me the whole time?!"

"You-" Iguro tried to speak, he was still out of breath. "You are fast."

"Sorry!" I started blushing. I mean, I accidentally ignored one of the older hashira. How disrespectful of me.

"It's alright." He was now standing straight. "I should have called you before you left your talk with Rengoku."

We caught eye contact for a second before he quickly turned the other direction. "Well I- umm-" he wasn't facing me, instead he was handing me something, it was green with what looked like a Jean blue at the end. "Since it's June first I got you something."

I instantly got stars in my eyes. The oh so handsome serpent hashira got me a gift. "Thank you!" I exclaimed before taking the gift.

He pulled his hand back and started playing with his other hand. "I got them because you seemed a bit uncomfortable, sorry if it isn't good, they just reminded me of you for some reason." He told me that as I looked at the gift closer. They were a pair of thigh high socks. The green part was striped with a lighter and darker green and at the end was a Jean like color.

"Kyaaa!" I exclaimed. My face was heating up and my hands balling up while covering my face. "Thank you Iguro-san! I love them."

"Really?" He asked. He turned to face me again, his eyes were wide. His snake hissed.

"Mhm!" I hummed. "Actually Iguro-san! Since you are here! You wanna come over later today!"

"Huh!?" He looked even more shocked.

"Mhm!" I hummed again. "Rengoku-san's family is coming so I thought of inviting you!"

He seemed to calm down a bit. He looked towards the ground before nodding. "Sure."

"Ya! See you later!" I yelled before running off again. I need to set it up, and fast.

So far, the best birthday ever.
