Elena's POV
Dear diary, It's mine and Damon's one year anniversary tomorrow. Somehow. It feels like we've been together for years, not one. He's picking me up any minute, apparently he wants to surprise me with something. I think he's outside.

I put my diary down onto my bedside table,shot out of bed and walked over to my bedroom window.
Looking outside I saw Damon getting out of his car and smiled to myself.
I ran downstairs and over to the door, opening it just as Damon was about to knock.
Damon's POV
My fist was in the air, I was about to knock but she had opened the door before I could. She looked stunning, even more stunning than usual, She had a flowing white dress on with matching white heels, She was clutching a white purse and had a beautiful smile painted on her face.
One look at her and I started smiling.
"Hey you." I said, following with a smirk.
"Hey you." She replied with a grin spread across my face.
"Ready for your surprise?" I asked.
She nodded, eagerly.
Elena's POV
He looked stupidly hot, he was wearing one of his black button up shirts, with tight black jeans and he had his sexy smirk on his face.
He grabbed my hand and asked "shall we?" I took his hand and walked with him to his car.
I had no clue where we were going. But I didn't care. Because I was with him.
