Delena's Miracle

Chapter 7/ Realising

Elena had just been told something crazy.
Something she thought she'd never hear.
Something impossible.

Elena's POV

"Wait.. What!?" I yelled.
"Keep it down! I know it's crazy. But the book I read showed a lot of proof that this is why your sick."
Bonnie explained.
"No..No! There's no way!" I cried.
"There's no way...that I'm pregnant!" I whispered.

-Meanwhile with Jeremy and Damon-

Damon's POV

"Did Elena just yell something?" Jeremy questioned.
"Yeah.." I answered.

-Elena and Bonnie walk down the stairs-

I walked over to Elena "are you okay? Do you feel worse?" I asked.
"I'm fine Damon..I feel a lot better actually."  She told me.
I started smiling and she smiled back at me.

Back to Elena's POV

He smiled after I told him that,
his smile made me smile.

"Oh hello sister! Remember me? I'm Happy your not dying." Jeremy said sarcastically.
I walked over to Jeremy as he opened his arms.
I hugged him tightly "I'm okay" I whispered into his ear.
He hugged me even tighter after I said that.

"Hate to break up the cuteness but me and Elena need to go somewhere." Bonnie spat out.
"Oh yeah!..cya later" I said as I let go of Jeremy and walked over to Bonnie.
"What do you mean cya later!?..where are you going!?"
Damon questioned concernedly.

"Do you trust me?" I asked Damon.
"Yes but.."  I cut him off before he could finish.
"Do you trust me?"
"Yes" he answered.
I kissed his cheek.
Then I walked over to bonnie as she put her jacket on.
"See you two soon" I said.
"Bye" Jeremy replied with.
Damon replied with "stay safe".
I walked out the door with bonnie and got into her car.

"So we're going to the hospital for an ultrasound?"
I assumed.
"Yeah. It's what normal people do."
"Well we aren't normal" I said.
We smiled at each other and Bonnie drove to
Mystic Falls Medical.

-8:42 pm-

We parked outside the hospital and got out of the car.

"I'm scared bonnie, I'm not ready for a baby, I don't even think Damon wants one." I started freaking out.

"I'd be surprised if you weren't scared, it's a big thing, but Damon,me,Jeremy,Caroline,Ric,Jenna. We would all be there for you."

Bonnie was being so nice and supportive. I don't know why I was surprised. She was my best friend and since I met her she'd been the kindest person ever.

What bonnie said reassured me and I walked in with her.

I compelled the first doctor I saw, telling her to treat me like any other patient who thought they were expecting.

"Take a seat up here" The doctor said.
Bonnie stood next to me for support.
I lied on a leather hospital bed, awaiting to hear news that could change my life, I reminded myself that my "life" was eternity.

The doctor pulled up my shirt and squeezed this jelly thing out of a tube and onto my stomach.

"Sorry if this is cold sweetheart"
Just after she said that she was moving this ultrasound device around my belly.

I looked at bonnie nervously and she held my hand.

Then I heard the three scariest words I'd ever heard.

"Congratulations, you're pregnant."

Immediately thoughts started jumbling in my head
"How do you raise a baby" "How will everyone react"
"How will Damon react" "I can't give birth"
I was terrified.

"I'll give you a minute" The doctor said as she left the room.

Bonnie was staring at me
"What do you think about that?" She asked me.
I tried to answer but I couldn't speak,my lips were frozen in place.
I heard a printer and looked beside me.
I pulled this strip of photos from the printer.
Then realised what the pictures were of.
They were pictures..
..of my baby.
Of Mine and Damon's baby.
Suddenly I didn't care. I didn't think about anything except how I was going to have mine and Damon's baby.

"Elena?.."
"I think..I'm really happy" I answered and started grinning.
I sat up and bonnie hugged me.

"Wait..what's Damon going to say?" I questioned.
"He's madly in love with you Elena, No matter what he wants he's going to be by your side."
What bonnie said made me feel a bit better, but I still was terrified of how he'd react.

I jumped off the bed and left the room with bonnie and my baby...

I passed the doctor as we left and thanked her.

Then we got to the car and i looked at bonnie.

"Bon..you're  going to be an auntie! I yelled.
"I'm going to be an auntie!" Bonnie screamed.

-10:03 pm-

Damon's POV

"She's not answering my texts Jeremy.." I said.
"Neither's bonnie" Jeremy replied.
I threw my phone across the room and it smashed.
"Calm down Damon!" He yelled.
"The love of my life, the reason I live, your sister and my best friend who's your girlfriend have been M.I.A for nearly two hours and you want me to calm down!?"

"Yeah because they're home." He laughed.

I turned around.
Elena and Bonnie were walking through the door.
I sped to Elena.
"Where were you!" I asked.
She stayed silent.
Then bonnie said "Jeremy lets go home..now."
He walked over to bonnie as she spoke "I'll call you later Elena, Bye Damon"

Then the door slammed shut.

Elena's POV

"Why didn't you answer my texts?" He asked.
"We need to talk Damon." I told him.
He looked nervous, worried.
I sat down next to him on the couch.
"Bonnie figured out why I've been sick." I said.
"That's good right?"
I reassured him. "Yeah it's good!"
He started smiling and the worried look on his face eased.
"We just had to make sure she was right, that's where we went."
"So whats wrong? How can we fix it?" He questioned.
"Well we can't fix it."
The worried look appeared on his face again as he grabbed my hands.

I decided I was just going to say it straight up.
So I blurted out,
"I'm pregnant."
