Chapter 15/ Finding out

The girls had stayed at a Motel for the night.
Now they were well rested, It was time to finish their journey to Katherine.

Salvatore House.

Damon's POV

Last night Stefan took Jeremy home, But Ric stayed over because he was passed out on the couch.

-6:54 am-

I woke up to Arabella crying.
I sped to her nursery and picked her up.

"Morning baby." I said to her whilst rocking her.
I took her downstairs and laid her on a baby mat so I could make a bottle for her.

It only took a few minute.
When I was done I picked her back up and fed her on the couch.
In front of passed out Ric.

Then, A knock at the door.
I got up and answered it.
But no one was there.

I looked down and saw a white envelope with no writing on.

"I'm getting crazy déjà vu." I said out loud.
I picked it up and Stefan ran down the stairs.

"Who was it?" He asked me as I shut the front door.

"Another letter from your secret admirer." I told him.

I sat down and he sat next to me.
He took Arabella off me and I opened the envelope.

There was another piece of paper, with Katherine's hand writing saying-

"I know you figured it out and I know your girls looking for me Damon. Hope she doesn't get injured during the process."

I shot up.
"Stefan if she touches Elena or Bonnie or Caroline I'll kill her." I snapped.

He stood up.

"There's nothing you can do.." He told me.
"I'm going there. I'm not letting her touch them."
I said to him.

"Can you look after Bella?" I asked him.
He resisted but then nodded.

"I'll be back soon sweetheart." I said to her as I kissed her head.

Within seconds I had sped out of the door.

-The motel-

Elena's POV

It was nearly 8 am and we were getting ready to set off again.
Then I heard my phone ringing.

E- Hey, we're just about to leave the motel.
D- Hold that thought, could you leave in say...two hours?
E- What why?
D- I'm on my way to you.
E- Why!? And you won't make it on time anyway.
D- Just please, give me 2 hours.
E- Fine..but Caroline and Bonnie are going to be angry
D- Thank you! I love you and I'll see you soon.
E- I love you too.
He hung up.

I walked back into the motel room.

"Ready to go?" Caroline asked me.
"About that..."

Damon's POV

I was speeding down the road.
I had to get there before they decided they had enough and left.

I knew what Katherine was capable of and I knew what she'd do to Elena if given the chance.

"So I have to stay in this disgusting motel room for another 2 hours waiting for Damon to get here?"
