Delena's Miracle

Chapter 8/ The Big Reveal

Elena had just told Damon something he never thought he'd hear, He didn't even know if he wanted to hear this.

Elena had just told Damon that she was pregnant with his baby, somehow.

Elena's POV

I was petrified.

"Damon Please say something." I pleaded.
He stayed silent, looking at the floor.
"I understand if you don't want this baby with me and if you want to leave." I muttered.
Then he looked up at me, his eyes widened.
He looked upset and.. offended.
"Leave? Elena i'd never leave you, especially alone with our baby."

Damon's POV

I was offended she thought that I'd leave her,
With our baby as well.
I didn't care though, because after I told her that, she started balling her eyes out.
"It's so much to deal with Damon..it's going to be so hard.." she murmured as she tears ran down her face.
I laid down and patted my chest, inviting her to lie down with me.
She laid on top of me and I played with her hair.
"I know this isn't really convenient but I think we should look at this as a blessing..as a miracle." I told her.
I think it comforted her because she slowly stopped crying.

"We're having a miracle baby, our miracle baby. In nine months when your holding a mini version of the two of us, your going to be so happy baby." I explained.

Then I wiped the tears off of her face with my thumb and kissed her head.
I laid there, cuddling her until she fell asleep.

Once she was peacefully sleeping I carried her to bed, laid her down and laid next to her with my arms wrapped around her body and the duvet on us both.

A few weeks later.
-6:02 am-

Elena's POV

I woke up in one of Damon's T-shirts  with Damon close behind me hugging me tightly.

I tried to slowly lift his arms off me so I could get up but then had the strong urge to vomit so I shot out of bed and just about made it to the bathroom.
I wrapped my arms around the toilet, stuck my head inside the toilet bowl and threw up whatever food was left inside me.

After about 10 minutes of vomiting Damon walked in.

"Awh baby..I'm so sorry I didn't wake up sooner" he muttered as he kneeled behind me, holding my hair back.

-6:19-

I finished vomiting.

I pulled my head out of the toilet and Damon quickly grabbed a towel and wiped my mouth for me.
I turned around to him.

"Thank you" I said to him.
"Of course" he said before kissing my nose.
He helped me up and took me back to bed.
"Get back in." he said.
I laid in bed as Damon pulled the duvet over me.
He tucked my hair behind my ears and said,
"Sleep tight."
I closed my eyes and immediately fell asleep.

Damon's POV

Even though pregnancy was making her throw up anything and everything. I thought she looked even more beautiful, she glowed. I didn't watch her sleep for long but the few minutes I did I realised how lucky I was that I got the girl.

Elena and Damon are cuddling in bed, Elena resting her head on Damon's chest and Damon wresting his head on hers.

"We could cancel you know.." Damon muttered.
Elena looked up and him and He looked down at her.
"No. I don't want to, they need to know." Elena replied
"I know they need to know, but can't we just lie here..all day.." he pleaded whilst smirking.
"That would be nice..but no they should know, they need to know...we're having a baby." She explained.
"That's crazy, we're having a baby Elena." Damon said like it hadn't seemed real till now.
They smiled at one another and kissed each other.
