Delena's Miracle

Chapter 6/ Wait..What!?

Damon and Elena were nearly back at the Salvatore house. On their drive they had only made one stop, that stop was a gas station 2 and a half hours into the trip when Elena woke up and needed to vomit.

"You sure you're okay in there?" Damon yelled while standing outside a toilet cubicle.
Elena replied with a quick "I'm fine" before throwing up again.

After a good well not so good 10 minutes she came out of the cubicle.

"Ready to take off again?" He asked her.
"Mhm.."

Damon's POV

I had bought a bag of chips and tipped them into the trash just so she had something to vomit in if we couldn't stop. I let her in the car and then got in myself and started driving the remaining 40 minutes of our journey.

Elena's POV

I kinda felt better after throwing up, but then not long after I'd feel sick again. On the bright side since I woke up from my nap my head had gone back to normal. I texted Bonnie,Caroline,Jeremy, Ric and Jenna. Just telling them we were nearly home.

I kept a smile on my face, even if Damon was worried I hoped if I kept smiling it would give him peace of mind.

Damon pulled into the garage and got out the car, so did Elena but she started feeling faint and fell to the floor. Damon noticed and sped over to her and caught her.

"Elena!..Elena! Wake up!" He shouted.
He heard her heart beating but she wasn't waking up, Damon carried her to his room and laid her down on his bed. He put the duvet over her. Then kissed her forehead and sat beside her.

Damon's POV

Elena had been scaring the shit out of me since she threw up at the lake house that morning. I pulled my phone out of my pocket and called bonnie.
"Pick up bon!" I muttered angrily. "Hey Damon" bonnie said answering the phone. "Bon I'm gonna need your help" I told her, I wasn't going to take no for an answer. "What's wrong?" She asked.

Damon explained to bonnie everything that happened.
The hunger, the sickness, how she looked and how she passed out.

Bonnie was at the house with Jeremy in 10 minutes.

Damon heard knocking at the door and ran downstairs.

He opened the door and Jeremy rushed inside with bonnie following him.

"Yeah just walk in" Damon said sarcastically.
"Where the hell is she?" Jeremy asked angrily.
Jeremy walked up to Damon
"Calm down, she's in my bed." Damon answered
Jeremy clenched his fists
"What did you do to her!?" Jeremy shouted
"Jeremy! Calm down." Bonnie snapped

Jeremy backed off and walked over to bonnie.

"What are we going to do?" Damon questioned worriedly.
Bonnie could tell he was worried and stressed out.
"We're just going to wait for her to wake up, when she does I'll talk to her and figure something out, don't worry Damon she's strong." Bonnie said, to reassure him.

She looked at Jeremy and rubbed his shoulder.

"If you two are just going to stress out, read some grimoires and these books I brought" she told them as she tipped all these big supernatural books onto the coffee table.

The three of them each grabbed one, sat down and read quietly.

-7:09- pm

Everyone was reading, even Damon. He was eager to find out what was wrong with the love of his life. But he was also listening, hoping to hear her wake up any minute.

No one had spoken a word until Damon heard Elena gasp upstairs.

"She's awake!" He said while panicking, though he was also relieved.

Damon sped up the stairs and into his room.
Jeremy stood up and bonnie touched his arm.
"She's okay with Damon, just stay here and keep reading" She smiled.

Elena's POV

I woke up, gasping for air.
I was so confused, I had just been getting out of the car. How was I here.
I blinked and when I opened my eyes Damon was by my side.

".Hey!..how do you feel?" Damon jittered as he held my hand.
"Okay..just really confused.." I said as I rubbed my head.

"Don't panic..." Damon told me.
"Damon..."
"You passed out when you tried getting out the car.."
"And that was around 3 hours ago" Damon explained.

I heard people downstairs, "are Bonnie and Jeremy here!?"
"Yeah. I called them after I brought you up here" he said.
"I'm sorry for worrying you." I exclaimed.
"Don't apologise, you didn't do anything wrong."
He kissed the back of my hand.

"Omg!" I shouted.
"What! What!" He panicked.
"It's our anniversary and I didn't get you anything,
I just spent the whole time sleeping or vomiting"
I cried.
"Don't worry about that! Just being with your vomiting self is better than any present." He joked.

I laughed but then started crying.

Damon's POV

"What's wrong?.." I asked her.
"I..I..I don't know!.. I don't know why I'm crying!"
She said in between breaths and fell into my chest.
I cuddled her and tried to stop her crying.
"It's ok.." I told her.

"Elena? What's wrong?" Bonnie asked.
Elena shot up and I turned around to look at bonnie.
"Bonnie!" Elena cried as she ran into her arms.
Bonnie hugged Elena and comforted her.

"What's wrong with her?" Bonnie mouthed to me.
"No idea" I mouthed back.

I walked over to them and kissed Elena's head.
"I'm going to talk to Jeremy baby" I whispered to her.

I walked out the room and downstairs to Jeremy.

Elena's POV

"Bonnie I don't know why I'm crying! I murmured to bonnie.
"I might though!" Bonnie exclaimed.

She sat me down on the bed.

"I'm going to say something crazy, you have to promise me that you won't freak out!" Bonnie said dramatically
"Your scaring me bonnie..." I told her.
"Promise me Elena!" She shouted.
"Okay okay! I promise!"

Then Bonnie told me the most insane thing ever.
I heard something I never thought I'd hear.
It was impossible... wasn't it?...

"Wait.. What!?" I yelled in shock.
