Why do people romanticize love? It's not always rainbows, because sometimes it's gloomy. When it rains, some will find happiness. But in love, when it rains, it will hurt. That's the truth.

I opened my book and laptop while sitting on the floor. I watched some lecture videos and jotted down important notes. I was in the middle of writing when two hands started massaging my shoulders.

"I want to take a rest na." I sighed then pouted when I faced Edward. He chuckled and gave me a smile. "Timpla mo ako ng gatas."

"Will do that, ma'am." Sumaludo pa siya kaya napairap ako. I watched him as he made his way to the kitchen.

I wondered... Is this love? Is this what they call "falling in love"? For me, it's love. But I doubt that he thinks the same. We're close friends. We knew from the start where we should stand. There has always been a line between us.

I hugged the throw pillow while waiting for Edward to come back. He smiled at me when he placed the glass of milk on the table. I sipped on the glass without using my hands. I probably looked like a little kid.

My eyes went bigger when he held the glass for me. Muntik pa akong masamid. Diyos ko, hinay-hinay lang po. He probably noticed how my face turned red!

"What time is your class this afternoon?" he asked when he placed the glass on the table.

"4 pa. Ikaw ba?" I couldn't look at him anymore!

"Wala kaming prof." Walang prof... Maiiwan siya rito.

E, ano naman kung maiwan siya?! Condo niya 'to, sanay naman siyang mag-isa!

"Ah okay. Idlip lang ako." Tumango siya sa akin. I stood up and went inside his bedroom. Pero ilang minuto palang akong nakahiga sa kama niya ay bumangon na ako. I can't sleep! His scent is not helping!

"Can't sleep?" Napaatras ako sa gulat. Tumango ako kay Edward at akmang lalabas ng k'warto niya nang harangin niya ako. "Sleep. You need some sleep, Clara."

"Hindi nga ako makatulog, kulit. Hindi effective 'yung gatas! Baka kiss ang katapat nito," pagbibiro ko. Bahagya ko siyang tinulak at saka lumabas ng k'warto. "Hahanap ako ng ki-kiss sa 'kin."

"I can do it. Scratch that, I'll do it for free." I blinked several times before turning around to face him. He tilted his head a bit to the side and raised a brow at me. He was casually standing there with his hands inside his pockets.

"Sige... Try natin." Nagulat siya sa pagpayag ko. Walang atrasan, siya ang nag-aya!

I went near him and tiptoed. I kissed him first. I stopped when he didn't move. But before I could give us a distance, he encircled his arms around my waist and pulled me closer to kiss my lips.

I zoned out while our professor was discussing something. The kiss that Edward and I shared last week... Ano ba iniisip ko?! Bakit ko siya hinalikan? Ano na ang iisipin niya? I held my hair in frustration.

"Laurel, kanina ka pa hindi nakikinig sa akin!"

"Sorry po-"
