TW: Mention of Rape/Abuse

The sexual activities of someone do not express invitation to such crime. Thus, having sexual activities after surviving doesn't make you the wrong one. This chapter includes sex scenes that may be disturbing to some people, considering the past events in the previous chapters. However, this chapter is made to prove a point. Doing these activities after a painful incident doesn't mean that you are invalidating your own feelings and disregarding your traumas. You are not alone, you are loved and you are respected.

Also, hypersexuality exists. It can either be a coping mechanism or a trauma response. Let's not forget about its existence! We shall stop using it against victims.

I am dedicating this and the next chapter to those strong people out there, the survivors, and to those who experienced/are experiencing emotional invalidation and to those whose rights were forgotten due to judgements and toxic mindset of the people around them, their society. I stand with you, we stand with you. #StopVictimBlaming

"Wala nga kayong matibay na ebidensya. Mahigit isang linggo na ang nakaraan. Kapag nagpa-test ka ngayon, 'yang boyfriend mo na ang magiging suspek-"

"I got tested a day after the last attack. I have an evidence to support my claim. Edward has nothing to do with this-"

"Miss, sa tingin mo ba paniniwalaan ka ng korte? Sinong survivor ng rape ang makikipag-sex ilang araw makalipas ang nasabing krimen? Hindi ko nga alam kung paniniwalaan kita, e-"

"I texted Enzo, so prepare yourself. Kanina ka pa, namumuro ka na. Being raped doesn't take their freedom to have sexual activities. You do not deserve your position... You deserve to be behind those bars because you are one of them, you fucking enabler!" I held Edward's arm when I noticed that he was ready to punch the police officer.

"Nagsasabi lang ako ng totoo. Pagtatawanan lang kayo ng mga tao. 'Yang girlfriend mo magmumukhang malandi-"

"Say another word and I'll kill you-"

"Edward, tama na... Huwag tayong makinig sa kaniya. Hahanap tayo ng ibang tutulong sa atin." Edward looked at me and sighed. He ruffled his hair. Nameywang siya nang muli niyang tingnan ang pulis.

"What's happening here?" Napalingon kami sa nagsalita.

"Sir.." The police officer went in front and saluted the man.

"PO2 Briones, I received a complaint. I'll have a word with you later. I'll handle their case, wait for me here." When Briones nodded, the other officer looked at us. He opened the door and gestured us to come out.

"Sorry for that... I'll have him apologize for the things he said," he said while the three of us were walking. He opened a door and went in. We followed him inside. I glanced at the name on his table. Chief Inspector Enzo Javi P. Hernandez. Enzo? I looked at him and saw him watching me. "I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Police Chief Inspector Enzo Javi Hernandez. Let's have a seat and discuss the case, shall we?"

I glanced at Edward before nodding. PC/INSP Hernandez started reading the report. I was so nervous but I knew he will help us. He's a Hernandez after all.

"Ms. Clara Sage Laurel, how are you?"

"I-I'm fine, officer.. But being fine doesn't mean that I'll let the things he did to me slide." Enzo's eyes went up to me. "Please help me..."
