{Warning; alcohol consumption. There is a wlw sexual scene and a wlm scene ahead. They both can be skipped.

A few hours pass as Theo and I watch the news, clean up, and bring more supplies down to the basement. I find all my old candles in my closet and place them in various spots throughout the basement. Making my way to the kitchen, I see Theo pouring a drink.

"Hey, want a drink?" Theo asks as he places the soda down, handing me the cold glass.

"Thank you." I say before I take a sip. The cool rush of the liquid going down my throat.

"You're welcome." He replies as the rain begins to beat hard against the windows. I watch for a moment as the rain hit the glass, falling and repeating the process. "So, the basement looks good." I hear Theo say, breaking my small trance.

"Oh, good. Do you think we'll need anything else?" I ask him as he makes his own drink.

"Um, I don't think so." I watch as he sits the soda back down and pick up his drink, taking a sip. I do the same. "Let's smoke." Theo says. "I'll roll." He sits his drink on the counter top and begins to walk past me.

"I'm going to go upstairs. I'll be two seconds." I tell him before sitting my drink down and heading to the stairs, taking each step before I make it to my grandmother's bedroom door. The plan that is circling in my head won't stop as I push open her door and turn on the light. Taking a step in, I walk over to her drawers and pull one open, going through them all before I check under her bed. Nothing. A small sigh escapes my lips as I look around her room, wondering where she would keep her most prized possessions. My eyes glance over to her closet and I walk over, opening the door and flipping on the light before I step inside the rather large room.

I let my orbs scan over the top shelves, seeing shoes and boxes neatly organized next to one another. I grab the small step stool that is propped against the wall and sit it directly under the brown box, stepping onto it. Reaching out I grab the box and secure it under my arm before stepping down and onto the floor. I make my way out of the closet and to the bed, sitting down the box before I open it. Looking down I see papers folded neatly, prompting me to pick up the first one.

It is a printed out paragraph, starting with my grandmothers name;

I, Ethel Lilith Barlow hereby leave all my possessions and property to my granddaughter Aleksandra Lilith Barlow, If in the unfortunate event of my passing.

Oh, shit. What the hell is this? I read further and find the name of her lawyer Terry Bradshaw, along with his number. I can feel my heart beating in my chest and I hear a small knock on the door.

"Hey, all good?" Theo asks as I look up to him.

"Oh, yeah." I say as I fold the piece of paper and close the box, walking over to Theo. "We're all good here." A soft smile tugs at my lips and I pat his chest a I walk by.

"Alrighty. Let's smoke then." Theo says as he falls in behind me down the stairs, returning to my drink.

"Let's." I pick up my glass and bring it to my lips, taking a sip as I slowly make my way in to the living room behind Theo. I watch as he picks up the blunt from the table and begin to light it.

"Is here alright?" He ask, looking to me as he catches the end aflame.

"Yeah, I'll open the door." I say as I make my way to the front door and open it wide. The rain beats down as the cool night air seeps through and Theo comes to stand beside me. I watch as the sun sets behind the trees, the pretty orange casting a light against the rain. Feeling a nudge I look over and see Theo passing me the blunt. I take it and bring it to my lips, taking a puff. I allow the tainted smoke to enter my lungs, taking another as it settles and passing it back to Theo.
