I was glowing. I felt absolutely beautiful. Putting down my lipstick, I grinned at my reflection. I was happy. I was actually very happy.

Never in a million years have I found myself looking forward to attend another social event not since one guy who was hitting on me in a certain event from four years ago started a scene when he got drunk. I remember turning him down the day before and I wouldn't have actually expected him to be causing a scene in a public event.

None of it matters though since it wasn't me who was embarrassed. The organizers of the event were quick to call security and quicker to apologize to me since that guy was Bruce James, one of their marketing employees.

As soon as I heard the doorbell being rang, I quickly went towards the door to open it, revealing the very good looking Alexander.

"Hi." I say shyly.

"Hi." He says as he amorously hugs me. "Ready?" He asked as he pulls away.

I nodded, "Let me just get my purse." I say then quickly put all the important things in it. As soon as I got out, I quickly put on my coat then lead Alex outside.

"Do we really have to pose for the cameras?" I moaned, tugging on his arm. He chuckles and pulls his arm away putting it around me, "Yes, it's okay you're used to in anyway."

I roll my eyes and waited for our turn to walk the blue carpet (since the event's main color is blue). The flashes blinding me as usual but being used to it, I just smiled my usual smile and pose like the usual.

"Smile properly." A voice whispers in my ear. I feel his arm wrap around my waist making my smile wider, and probably making me blush more.

"Mia, Mia! Are you and Alexander together?"

"Alexander! Are you and Mia Wilson dating?"

And all the dating questions began and even those 'when's the wedding question' and 'are you afraid of what the outcome of your career would be once Mia Wilson breaks up with you' which never fails to make me laugh.

"That was wilder than usual." He says as he scratches the back of his head.

I laughed as we enter the venue, "It's because you've been so touchy and whiper-y in my ear the whole time." I kept teasing and pinching his cheeks playfully as he recalled those funny questions about his career a while ago.

"Well as long as you're still your professional self if we do get together then break up, well then everything will go well." He grins.

Some of the other guests came to us smiling suspiciously and some of those models and advertising people from other companies tried hiding their glares at me as they stare at the Alex' hand on my waist.

Most of them finally left except for two of the executives from Elle and two marketing exectuvies from I forgot what company it was.

"Alex?" A soft feminine voice says from behind making both of us turn to whoever it was who spoke.

I heard Alex gasp as we stare at the long legged and very beautiful lady stand in front of us. I felt my self esteem go down to the lowest level.

"Brooke." Alex says quietly as he tightens his grip on my waist making me wince a little.

"Excuse me." I say as I look at them staring intently into each other's eyes which was bothering me. A lot.

"Where are you going?" Alex asks frowning at me. "Talk to some guests." I replied.

He shook his head and grabs my hand which caught Brooke's attention. A look of hurt takes over her face but she quickly smiled hiding the hurt look on her face.
