Clyde and Audrey made it back to Amanda's remote penthouse, though by a small string. They were chased by The Wilsons but managed to escape.

They both came in and took off their disguises. 'Martin' and 'Osana' were no more, even though Audrey sort of enjoyed dressing up like that.

"Thank goodness you're both alright. Were you followed?" Amanda asked.

"No, I don't think so. But, keep an eye out just to be safe." the Korean thug said.

She nodded. Had to keep her guard up in case someone tailed them.Clyde then put his jacket back on. It looked as if he was ready to head out.

"Where are you going, Clyde?" the Japanese woman asked.

"I'm going for a walk. I need to clear my mind."

"Well, okay. But please stay close in case something does happen. We could use your help if there is a raid. Ray's putting the finishing touches on the EMP with that chip you got from the casino."

He nodded. He went out. Audrey was a bit scared. What was going to happen? Were they going to be raided?

The Korean took a walk in the tree line outside of Amanda's penthouse. He walked to clear his head and gather his thoughts. No headphones, just the sound of the river flowing and the Summer wind.

He walked for a small bit, as going too far would be risky if something DID happen. It was very possible, and he was ready for it.

He then sat down, admiring the river. This penthouse was at the very edge of the city. There was a bridge that connected Commotion City to Little Rukk. Going across the river meant going to the next city/area.

He admired the river until the fairy showed up again. Kyu showed up unannounced.

"Hey, bro." she said, sounding a bit less-enthusiastic compared to her usual upbeat tone.

"Kyu..." he said, sounding more of the same. What did she want?

"Look, man. I'm usually one to be upbeat and optimistic, but I'm starting to feel a bit of guilt deep down inside."

"Really?"

"Yes. If I would've never approached you that night at the bar, none of us would be in this mess. I should've done my research before starting a new project. I had no idea what you've done or what you were going through. I guess what I'm trying to say is... I'm sorry."

He had a smirk on his face. It was surreal enough hearing an apology from someone, let alone a pink-haired fairy.

"But, I do know some of what you did and I just wanna know the full scoop. I'm not gonna get you in trouble. You already have enough trouble to deal with as it is."

He sighed. All of the secrets he has been hiding were starting to come to light. If anyone was to tell the full story, it should be him.

"Okay... I'm going to tell you the full story. Let's start with the murder."

She gave him her full attention.

"Right after I had the money stolen, the mob gave me jobs to do, one of them was to whack a guy. I was tasked to murder a man who refused to pay his protection money for too long. He lost his entire family yet still refused to pay. I had to murder him and throw his body in the river."

She nodded. It was pretty bad hearing him say that with little to no shame, but she also knew admitting to stuff like that must be hard.

"So, you were forced to kill a guy?" she asked.

"Yes. Most of my crimes were because I had to in order to pay back the 3 million dollars I owe them."

She nodded again. It wasn't really his fault. The mafia was no game.

"So, what else have you done?"

"I did threaten to kill the president, as Jack has a problem with him. I had to go on TV while wearing facial coverings and threaten him unless he turned over the nuclear codes. He was going to, but he uh... He forgot to and started rambling about spaghetti sauce or something."

She chuckled at that last statement. Why did humans have such a weird president?

"Must be an old kook. Any sane person would be scared of an anonymous making threats towards their leader."

"Not him. Sometimes, he forgets if he's president or not. He's said some very questionable things. One time, he said that he liked it when kids would rub his-"

"Okay, I don't need to know that!" Kyu said, not wanting to elaborate on the president's weird fetishes.

"But, I have done some horrible things. But, there's one thing that keeps me going. My... Sister." he said.

The fairy looked surprised. "Wait, you have a sister?" she asked, not knowing.

"Y-Yes. I have a sister. Her name is Tabitha. She's the only person that ever supported me."

"What happened to her?"

"She went missing almost a year ago. Nobody's seen or heard from her. I fear she might've been killed."

For the first time, Kyu started to feel bad for him.

"Where's the last place she was seen?" she asked.

"I-I don't know. But, she was a badass. She carried a baseball bat and could crack people's skull open. She was the one helping me do these crimes on the side. After she disappeared is when I started losing my mind. I started hating society and everyone around me. That's why I chose not to sit near anyone at the bar that night."

This answered many questions. Ever since his sister's disappearance, he was never the same. That explained why he was so angry before.

"Well, Clyde. Regardless of where Tabitha is or if she's still around, just keep going. Use her disappearing as a strength to kill those mobsters and earn your freedom. I know that Ray guy is finishing the EMP right now as we speak."

He nodded. He was starting to become more appreciative of the pink-haired love fairy, even if he did treat her like shit at first. That's true dedication for her to stick around.

"Just keep your head up, Clyde."

He then got a sudden erection, in which she saw sticking out of his pants.

"NO! NOT THAT HEAD!" Kyu shouted, caught completely off guard.

"8 by 5, baby!" he said, sounding cheerful for once.

She laughed. Maybe he wasn't such a sociopath after all. He was just on edge because of what was being thrown at him.

"Right. Listen, I gotta go. But, I will keep an eye on you. You have a dangerous mission coming your way soon. If I need to break out the big guns, I will be there to help."

He nodded. He then got up and began to head back.

"Hey, Clyde." the fairy said. He stopped and looked at her.

"Don't be surprised if there's consequences for your actions." she said, suddenly killing the mood. He heard her and understood. He continued to walk towards the penthouse.

But, right before he got there, he heard the sound of gunshots.

"Oh shit!"
