Chapter 17

Jeff began to stalk towards me, I shuffled back. Okay now I was scared. "Jeff." EJ said slightly growling standing up to stop him from getting any closer. Jeff stared at EJ clearly pissed off that he blocked him from reaching me. "What I wasn't going to do anything just wanted a close up of the bitch." He sent me a deranged smile causing me to shake slightly under his gaze. "We have orders Jeff." EJ said eerily calm, my shaking began to intensify. I felt a hand on my shoulder, it was Toby. He looked at me through his goggles concern showing slightly. Masky noticed my shaking and instantly thought to this morning when I collapsed and stood up walking towards Jeff and began to usher him out the room. Jeff groaned but nevertheless left grumbling to himself, "I just wanted a closer look, whats the big deal." I wasn't sure if he was actually going to hurt me or just intimidate me but it didn't matter to me, memories of nightmares I used to have of his face were popping up in my head. Masky left with Jeff and EJ turned to me and grabbed both of my shoulders rather harshly, I could feel myself slipping my eyes unfocusing. Shit. My eyes started to cloud out and my hearing went muffled, I don't know how long I was like this but suddenly I felt a sharp pain in my shoulders caused me to flinch bringing me back.

I looked around wildly before my eyes looked up seeing EJ, I looked to my shoulders and saw that his nails dug into my shoulders blood dripping slightly onto my t-shirt. My eyes widened and I looked up at him with my lips apart gobsmacked. "Well that worked better than I thought." EJ said as he retracted his hands rubbing the blood off of his jumper. I blinked a couple of times and my arms instinctively moved to my opposite shoulder's rubbing them slightly, "Thanks, but ouch." I said.

After everyone seemed satisfied that I was gonna be okay Jeff was allowed back in but this time he wasn't the only one entering the room. Jeff looked at me and huffed out a sorry, obviously being told by Masky to apologise before he moved to one of the sofa's behind us and sprawled out over it. I looked at the other people walking in trying to figure out who was who, Laughing Jack was the most obvious being a monochrome clown after all. He didn't seem too bad until he flashed his teeth my face scrunching to see rows of razor sharp teeth. There were three girls, one child who I assumed was Sally she instantly ran towards me seeing as I was girl and looked at me in awe, "Wow your really pretty." I smiled down at her, she was so adorable. She ended up sitting on Toby's lap next to me because she wanted to sit next to me and Toby refused to move. The two other girls were around the same height, one had pitch black eyes and lips along with black hair and clothes and the other had brown hair with blonde highlights with a clock for an eye and a stitched extended smile imbedded into her cheeks I assumed she was clockwork and the other was Jane. They smirked when they saw me, "Dam another girl thank god for that." I smiled, they were fucking hot. The last boy to walk in, who I assumed was Liu, just shrugged when he saw all of us and just walked over to Jeff moving his feet off the sofa causing Jeff to say 'Hey! before he sat down. Guess he wasn't much of a talker, he had stitches along his cheeks matching his brothers slightly and stitches all over his body.

Hoodie suggested that we all introduce ourselves and reluctantly everyone agreed, god I felt like I was in school again. We were supposed to all say our names, where we were from and a fact about us, yup definitely back in school.

As people started to introduce themselves I realised most people were actually from the USA, that would explain their accents but I didn't mind as long as they didn't make any stupid comments then we would be fine. It was Cody's turn and he stood up, "My name is Cody Brian, i'm from Northampton and my fact is I am able to hack into most government facilities." He sat down and to be honest I was shocked, dam he must be smart I thought. It was Daniels turn and he stood up, "My name is Daniel Turner, i'm from London and my fact is that I am able to speak 3 different languages." He sat down, dam so he's trilingual. There were two more people before it was my go, Sally and Toby. I started to think, why was I here? I wasn't supper smart and I wasn't able to speak to people in different languages. They can both definitely be useful for the creepy pasta's as Cody could help Ben and Daniel could be very useful at luring people in and translating, I had nothing. "Jess?" I heard from beside me which snapped me out of my thoughts, "Huh?" I said confused, "It's your turn!" Sally said excitedly, welp here goes nothing.

I stood up and cleared my throat, everyone's eyes were on me looking expectant to what I had to say. Wow, I haven't left like this since secondary school. "My Jessica Jackson, call me Jess though, i'm from Bristol and my fact um." I paused, I didn't really know what to say. I looked around the room until my eyes landed on Jeff, he was smirking obviously happy with the fact that I didn't have anything to say. Then it hit me, I knew exactly what to say, "My fact is that I am able to out run Jeff over here." I cast my arm towards him smirking slightly. His smirk on his face instantly dropped and everyone laughed. I winked at him and sat down. He still scared the shit out of me and i'm pretty sure if he could he would gladly murder me after that comment but I wasn't going to let my fear of him as a child rule me. 

After a bit of time just sitting around and talking, we all went to the kitchen to get food. On the way down however, EJ pulled me the side and said to come with him as he wanted to clean out my wounds from his nails just to be safe and cover them up. Luckily Masky heard and told me he would make me something for when I came back, so instead of following everyone me and EJ turned and went up the steps.

The walk was quiet none of us really knowing what to say although I really wanted to ask about how he became like he did and see if his backstory online was true i didn't want to press questions incase it made hime uncomfortable. 

When we got to his room I walked in first and sat down on the bed with him walking in after shutting the door behind him. He turned to face me, "Take your top off." He said but quickly rephrased when he realised how wrong that sounded, "Um I mean can you please remove your top so I can see the uh see the marks on your shoulders." I laughed nervously, I wasn't the biggest fan of my body like I have already mentioned so I really wasn't wanting to take it off but there wasn't really another way to get to it. So reluctantly I started to take off my jumper which I put back on after the incident to cover the bloodied t-shirt then started to take off my t-shirt leaving me just in my sports bra. I looked down at myself and then noticed my arms to see that they were almost completely grey my eyes widened, that spread really quickly. EJ noticed it, "Huh? Why are your arms turning grey?" I looked at him weirdly, I swear he already knew, "Wait I thought you knew this was happening to me, you said when we were in my accommodation that I would have noticed changes so I thought you were referring to them?" He shook his head, "I meant the mental changes like not being scared of us and some changes to your voice etc, not this... may I?" He pointed to his mask asking if he can take it, I nodded. He took it off putting it on his desk before walking over to me and grabbing my arm inspecting it, he then let go rolling up his sleeve and compared our skin colours. We had the same colour. "What's happening?" I said with a slight tremble in my voice.
