Chapter 30

We arrived to my campus around 12. It was weird being back if I was honest, it felt so foreign but so familiar at the dame time. Everything was the same apart from me. We were walking along the wooded area that surrounded the campus, "We will camp out and keep watch of them for their movements and attack later this evening." Masky said, we all nodded and kept walking. We didn't have our masks or anything on as to not draw suspicion to us. I grazed my hands along the bush deep in thought. I remembered walking down this path when me and Caleb went on a drunk walk, now I was here on my way to kill him. I didn't really know how I was gonna do it really. I think slender man didn't fully snap my sanity, I shouldn't be caring about him. There wasn't much talking between us as we walked down the familiar path towards my accommodation, just the sound of breathing and footsteps filled the air around me. 

Once we were at my accommodation we walked around the side towards the fire escape, luckily my accommodation was in a secluded corner of the campus so it was pretty easy to walk around unnoticed to security and other peering eyes. "J-jess?" I heard from besides me, I look up and see Toby looking at me curiously as if he had just asked a question. I hummed in response, "I s-said do you k-know where your fl-flatmates w-would be or what t-they would be doing right n-now?" I thought for a moment, it was a Monday and noon so it was likely they were either making food or in a lecture. "They should be in the flat making food or in a lecture but should be coming back soon as lectures make sure not to run too far into lunch." I said, he nodded and looked towards Masky and Hoodie who were both digesting the information as well. "Okay, we will go up to your level, is there anywhere inside that we can hide?" Masky asked, I snapped my head towards him after a moment as an idea popped into my head, my window! "We could get into my room and stake out in there for a while, the window should be open!" I said, the three of them smiled though it did slightly falter, "How would we get in your on the third floor." Hoodie said, I smirked they didn't know I had been doing my training with Ej but he taught me how to climb walls and basically do everything he can. "I can take us up one by one." I said simply the smirk not leaving my lips and turned walking towards where my window would be. 

My window faced towards the wooded area and no one comes over this way so it was safe to climb unnoticed even if it was light outside. I turned around to see their confused faces, "How are you gonna get us up there?" Masky said looking at me with a 'Yeah there is no way this is gonna happen' face, I looked over to Toby and pointed at him. "You get on my back." I instructed, his eyes widened. "Wh-what?" He said as he twitched, I rolled my eyes, "Just do it goggles!" I said as I turned around waiting for him to get on my back. He grumbled to himself but reluctantly jumped on my back, I turned with him on my back looking at the others who looked like they had just heard the funniest joke ever. They were trying so hard not to laugh, I scowled at them before turning and walking towards the wall. Toby was really quite light, I didn't even feel like I was holding anything. "Hold on okay?" I said and Toby nodded wrapping his arms arm me tightly and squeezing my sides with his legs. Here goes nothing I thought, if I was honest I was half expecting this to fail as I had only done this twice. I took a breath and changed to my demon form, I jumped high up grabbing onto the wall digging my hands onto the wall. I heard Toby let out a small squeak but quickly regained composure once he realised we weren't going anywhere. I continued climbing until we got to my opened window, I peered in and saw the door was shut. "Okay go in and make sure the door is locked and be quiet." I said and he nodded climbing in and running over to the door checking it was locked which it indeed was and nodded towards me to indicate it was all okay. I turned and looked down seeing Hoodie and Masky stood there mouths open and wide eyed. I smirked, now time to give them all a heart attack I thought. I let go and started plummeting to the ground. Hoodie rushed forward to get under me and catch me but it was too late, I landed on both feet absorbing the fall into my un human legs and stood there crossed armed looking at the two terrified boys standing in front of me.

"Who's next?"

I'll never say it to the other two's faces but my god they were heavier than I thought, after bringing Masky up I climbed in afterwards and walked over flopping on the all to familiar bed exhausted. "Where did you learn to do that?!" Masky whisper yelled at me, I smiled, "Ej did" I said. He let out a long sigh shaking his head with a small smile on his face. I sat up and looked around my room, it was a mess! I didn't notice it till now but my room was trashed. Clothes that I left behind were all over the floor, the items that were on my shelf all over the floor and my desk and my laptop was no where to be seen. I scrunched my nose up at the mess, "What the hell happened to my room?" I said earning the three boys gazes to look around seemingly just noticing it at well. "Police or security must have came in looking for you after you disappeared." Hoodie stated in a nonchalant voice. I just let out a huff. "W-what d-do we do n-now?" Toby asked to no one in particular. "We wait until night when there asleep." Masky replied, we all nodded and I decided to take a sleep, I was exhausted from not sleeping well, while the others either did the same on the other bed or just sat around.

I was shaken awake rather roughly, I groaned slowly opening my eyes. Hoodie loomed over my figure causing me to jump slightly hitting my head on the wall. "Woah, calm down it's just me!" Hoodie whisper yelled putting his hands up defensively, he was wearing his mask. I rubbed the back of my sore head and looked at the other two who were also in their masks, weapons attached to each of their hips. "It's time Jess." Masky said through his feminine mask, I nodded getting up and walking over to my back pack and searching for my weapon and mask.

Once I was fully ready, weapon in hand and mask on I stood up and turned to the other, "Okay, what rooms are they in?" Masky asked as he pulled the list out handing me reminding me of the people we needed to kill, I looked over it. Okay we have Harry, Lucas, Caleb, Will, Mark and Rebecca. "Harry and Lucas share and are in room 5, Caleb is in room 10, Will is in room 7, Mark is in room 2 and Rebecca is in room 9. Though we need to be careful, Mark and Rebecca have a roommate and so does Caleb though he is never here but we can't be too careful just incase he is." I said relaying the information to the three boys. Toby cursed under his breath, "T-this could g-get messy." He said and I nodded a grimace coming over my features for a split second.

"We'll just need to be extra careful." Hoodie said in a low dark voice.
