Emmy hadn't spoke to Steven since his lash out the day on the elevator. She found it weird and concerning that the man had changed accents and the way he acted around her, Emmy had to work an extra shift when Steven had missed a few days, if she was an asshole she wouldn't have done it so she covered his shifts for him.

At the moment the pair stood in the museum after hours, nearly ten pm. Emmy arranging the snacks near the cashier whilst Steven scanned them.

"Are you just gonna ignore me now, is that what we're doing?" Steve didn't like the silent treatment he was getting from the girl he considered a sister.

"I don't know what you're talking about?" Emmy denied the tension in the room, dropping the small bags of hard candy in the bin.

"Emmy, would you just look at me." Steven plead glancing up from the cashier up to the girl. "Please." Emmy tore her attention away from the snacks, glancing up at him.

Watching his lips curved into a smile. "Steven, i have every right to be ignoring you, the night we called that woman you— you changed, then you dragged me out of your apartment after you looking for something or someone, I don't know. It was very much confusing."

"After that you total freaked out on me and that poor woman, and that's not even the weird thing, you turned American, like your accent disappeared and you were a whole different person, an- a complete arsehoel. As one would say."

Steven stared at her in disbelief, having no recollections of that. Emmy scoffs moving away over to grab her belongings. "Let me guess, you don't remember? Do you?"

Steven sighs shaking his head staring down guilt, Emmy nose crinkled pushing a stray of her brown locks behind her head letting out a huff. "Steven." The man turns to look at her as he slings his bag over his shoulder.

"Wait." Her hand wrapped around this bicep making him stop in his tracks. "I know that your sleeping disorder might be changing you, but- I just want you to know that I'm here for you, whenever you need me, cause I care about you more than you think."

Steven eyes softened with a soft smile on his lips, Emmy returned the gesture before she tugged him into her embrace. "Same here, em's, same here." Steven arms tighten around her petty waist.

"Well, whatever I said before, I didn't mean it." Steven snickers, as they pulled away from the hug, Emmy chuckles with a nod. "All is forgiven."
