They spent many hours driving into the desert after they left Zach's, Emmy had switch spots with Layla in the drivers seat since the girl grew tired, once they arrive they Marc and Layla got out the car leaving Emmy in the car.

The girl sat with her arrows resting on her lap, fixing the arrows heads making sure they wouldn't break on her, glancing to her left at Marc and Layla who stood on each side of the truck trying to puzzle the cartonnage they were trying to figure it out.

Emmy grew bored quickly getting out the car joining the married couple. Layla peeled her eyes away from the scraps meeting her eyes.

"I thought you were sleeping?"

Emmy shook her head. "Nah, I just grew bored watching you guys fail putting that together."

Marc scoffs. "I'll like to see you try."

"Alright." Emmy grabbed two scarps from the truck folding a flap down then the bottom taping it down before laying it down on the surface picking up another just to tape it down. "That's all I know, we'll probably need Steven."

Layla glanced away from the scraps up at her husband. "She's right. Marc, we need Steven. He understands all of this, I really think it's worth giving him a shot."

"I summon the gods, you summon the worm." Khonshu showed up from above the car roof.
"He won't return the body."

"Marc, we can't wait, it's okay, just let go." Layla tells him, Marc groans ripping the mirror off the door grasping all the scarps off the truck walking further away from them.

"All right, go ahead. You're in." Marc dull eyes stared back down at his reflection, suddenly his format chanced with bright eyes. "Cheers, thanks a lot."

Emmy cocked her head to the side watching Marc drop to his knees working rather quickly on the scarps using the tape to tape them down, the girl slowly stepped closer to the man kneeling down to come to face with him.

"Steven?"

The man snapped his head to face her with a growing smile on his face, she immediately knew it was him, Layla then joined Emmy's side making Steven turn to face her with innocent eyes.

"Egyptians invented modern navigation." Steve says bring the tape up to his mouth ripping it. "There's not a lot of landmarks in the desert. So they came up with a way to get about using the sun and the stars. It's bloody genius, isn't it?"
