Layla and Emmy managed to get inside the Chamber of the Gods to look for Khonshu ushabit, they had separated from the group to the back where the Gods kept all the ushabit's.

"Which one could he be." Emmy whispered scanning the column of ushabit's, Layla continued to observe them trying to see which one looked more like Khonshu.

"Found it." Layla reached forward taking the ushabit from the middle row and they quickly left somewhere more private.

Layla placed the ushabit down on the ground before slamming her foot down over it making it break into pieces, Emmy watched as smoke appeared going into a swirl and a tall Khonshu appeared before them.

"I do not sense Marc Spector in this world." Those were the first words the skeleton with the long peak said to them, Emmy scoffed shaking her head in disbelief. "He died fighting, no doubt."

"Fighting your war." Layla spat, her blood boiled with anger knowing that her husband was still dead.

"And it's far from over." Khonshu says. "If Marc is truly gone, I am in need of an Avatar. Would you Layla El-Faouly or Emmy Spector, protect the travelers of the night—"

"Are you joking?" Layla cuts him off, grunting her teeth. "You turned Marc's life into a waking nightmare. Why would I ever sign up for that?"

"Because you won't win against Harrow and Ammit alone." Khonshu tells them, Emmy glanced over at Layla knowing that the God was right.

"We'll take our chances."

"Marc was in crisis over you." Khonshu confuses. "His lack of focus got him killed. You need a plan, little bug. What I offer—"

"I don't care what you can offer!" Layla lower lip quivered. "Marc didn't trust you. I don't trust you." Layla comes out from the shadows. "We'll work together without emmy and I enslaving ourselves."

"We must rebind Ammit." Khonshu choose to take her anger towards him as a sign. "But only an Avatar can do it."

"I said no." Layla spat once again, Khonshu groans in annoyance disappearing from their view.

Emmy had managed to lose Layla when trying to run out the temple, her hands tighten on her bow running through the tunnels when she heard a loud scream, making her stop in her tracks.

"Taweret!" Emmy called out that's when she went stiff as a board eyes going white for a second before going back to normal.

"Emmy, I'm glad you made the right decision."

Emmy groans clutching her stomach nearing falling back but quickly grabbed into the stone wall.
"Yeah, I didn't make the decision, it was Layla."

"Oh, well at least I got you both girls as my Avatars." Taweret cheerfully voice escaped Emmy's mouth, but the young girl quickly took over.

"This isn't going to be a forever kind thing, alright?" Emmy continue her way down the tunnel as the ground rumbled below her feet making her stumble as she ran.

"Yeah, no, I completely understand." Taweret nods holding her hands up high letting out a yawn. "Just you wait until you see the costume i have in mind."

Emmy glanced up at the ceiling knowing that in was going to collapse down on her, so Taweret worked her magic and slowly a black body suit wrapped around her body, with a grey and red belt going around her waist.

Emmy gasped down at her body, touching the material staring down at her gloved hands except for the tips of her fingers, and in her right hand laid a sliver spear.

"Oh, my—" Emmy twirled the spear until her eyes widen touching her back, sighing out in relief feeling her quiver sitting on her back.

"Emmy!?" Layla voice echoed from outside the temple, Emmy picked up her pace running out through the broken temple meeting a dark night.

"Layla?"

"I'm right here." The curly haired woman approached her wearing Taweret gold armor with a set of gold wings on her back, Emmy was in complete shock.

"Wow, you look— like a God." Emmy admits admiring her outfit, Layla scoffs shaking her head with a tiny grin.

"Me? No, you look amazing, black is totally your color." Layla brown eyes scanned her up and down. "Enough about us, Marc needs our help."

Emmy eyes widen watching Layla skip down over each rock until she made it to the bottom. "Marc's alive?" The young girl followed her steps until she stood by her.

"Yeah." Layla says softly. "You can't fly, can you?" Emmy chuckled. "Right stupid question. Just hold on to me I'll get us there."

Fyi I'm keeping Emmys outfit simple since she does carry a bow and arrows, and from my point of view she wouldn't look good in gold armor
