"I have to say, I feel like I've been waiting for this my whole life."

Steven Grant breaths out, Emmy watched with her hands gripping the hardness wrapped around her lower body, Layla, Steven and Emmy had arrive at the top on the cave which would lead them inside the tomb, right now the older women was kneeled down helping Steven.

Emmy frowns turning to face him catching his eye.
"The adventure, I mean." Steven corrects as Layla rose from her spot.

"I know. We want what we never had." Layla stood rather close to Steven, Emmy didn't know where to look other then down at her feet or her nails.

"You smell like him." Layla admits after taking a small whiff of his cologne. "I mean, why wouldn't you, right?"

Layla cocked her head staring up at him, Steven nodded when the curly haired woman leaned forward going to attach their together when.

"Marc's trying to protect you from Khonshu."

Layla furrows leaning back away from his reach, her face burned with embarrassment eyebrows narrowed down together. "What?"

"That's why he's been pushing you away." Steven confesses. "He thinks Khonshu wants you for his Avatar and he won't let that happen." Layla glanced away with a short gulp, Emmy eyes widen.

"It's all right, I just felt like you should know that." Steven glanced over the woman's shoulder to his sister trying to signal her for any help. Emmy didn't seemed fazed not reading the signs.

"Why are you tell me this now?" Layla squints tugging on a pair of gloves whiling facing Steven

Steven shrugs. "I don't know, I just thought you deserved to know."

Layla huffs shaking her head. "Well, it wasn't his call to make. I don't need protection, what I need is honestly."

Steven frowns, hating that he ruined their moment.
"Yeah, I get that."

"That's more of a "you" thing, isn't it?" Layla tugged on the rope around Steven body making sure that it was secure.

"What? Being— honesty?"

"Yeah." Layla smiles gawking up at him. "Being honesty." Emmy hummed at the interaction when Steven placed his hands on Layla shoulders leaning down towards her pressing their lips together, Emmy gaped at the two, quickly remembering their situation.
