Third Person
Duryodhan kicked on the golden vase ferociously causing to fell on the marble floor with a loud thud before punching on the iron door, gritting his teeth he breathed in a mixture of fury and exasperation "Arjun got her Mamashri!"
"Calm down, darling" Shakuni drawled placing an assuring hand on his nephew's shoulder, even though his own heart was no less perturbed than Duryodhan's.
"Calm down?" Duryodhan hissed removing Shakuni's hand off of his shoulder as he swivel around "Do you know the amount of risk I had taken to arrange that lac house?"
"Of course I do, darl-"
"No you don't!" He growled "I've been taking such risks from the very moment those bastards stepped in Hastinapur and every time, every damn time I failed" Duryodhan ran his fingers through his hair "And now they have the support of a mighty kingdom like Panchal. They're no longer dependent on Hastinapur Mamashri"
Shakuni heaved a despaired sigh and side glanced at Karna who had barely spoken a word since the moment he got to know the heroic Brahmin was none but Arjun "I, at least, expected your dear friend to win the Swayamvar"
Shakuni's jibe made Karna's fingers curled in a ball "Arjun was in disguise!" Karna almost cringed at the excuse he just made.
"You are forgetting I was very much presented there Angraj" Shakuni scoffed "you were given chance to hit the target much before Arjun and that after fight..." Shakuni faltered shaking his head in dismay "Let's not even talk about that shameful event. You and I both know you were fighting with all your might"
"Mamashri, please! Can you stop blaming Karna?" Duryodhan went closer to where Karna, Shakuni along with Dushasan were standing "Pandavas will be here in a few days and I'm not ready to give up my crown-prince title, no way"
"You won't" The firmness in Shakuni's voice surprised both the Kauravas and Karna "Don't forget just like Pandava has gained power through this scandal of a marriage they've also gained weakness" Shakuni's lips curled up in a malicious smirk.
Duryodhan, Dussasan and Karna exchanged a confused glance but remained silent, letting Shakuni continue "Their wife, Krishnaa Yajnaseni"
"How is she their weakness?" Dussasan asked
"A woman wedded to five men can only bring misfortune, my dear. The Pandavas, after all, are men like you and me"
"Get to the point, will you Mamashri" Karna persisted.
"Draupadi was won by Arjun, do you think Arjun happily gave Draupadi away? No, it's his weird obsession with following every order of Yudhishthir that forced him into this polyandry and the other four" Shakuni picked the pasas from the table and taking them between his palms and started rolling them "There's every possibility for them to be insecure of Arjun"
