Third Person
The weary hut came to life with the arrival of Vasudev's sons. The two brothers greeted their cousins before being pulled into an affectionate embrace of their paternal aunt.
Kunti closed her eyes, letting the tears of joy flow, how long had she been waiting for this day? She slowly freed them and caressed their faces.
"How did you-" Kunti stopped abruptly to wipe the tears before resuming "How did you know we were here?"
"Kanha recognized Arjun the very moment he stood up" Balaram answered smiling at his brother.
Arjun looked at Krishna in scepticism. They had never met before, how was it possible for him to recognize him at the very first sight?
Krishna's lips curved into an impish smile observing Arjun's confusion "Well my Sakhi has made quite a lot of pictures of you back at Panchal, how could I not know?"
A wave of embarrassment swept over Arjun as he looked at his brothers,to his relief they were busy with Balaram.
"Thank you for visiting our humble adobe Vasudev" Arjun smiled politely and bent down to touch his feet before Krishna pulled him up.
"Way to make me feel old" He sighed "I'm not much older than you Parth"
Arjun smiled "But you deserve my respect anyways, older or not"
"Now what did I do to deserve your respect? As long as I can remember it was you who just created history, winning the most beautiful Princess' hand and defeating all the Kings single handedly"
"I don't think I would have got the opportunity if you've participate yourself"
"Humble archer, listen to me Parth, denying victory is as shameful as denying failure"
"Victory can't always be rejoiced either Keshav" Arjun glanced at the fire-born princess looking lost as she stood at a corner, her eyes settled on the mud floor. Arjun's heart twisted painfully and his fingers curled up in a fist while his jaw tensed.
"Who said anything about rejoicing? You're neither suppose to enjoy victory nor grieve failure." Krishna soothed forcing Arjun to stare at his magnificent form as he tried to grasp the depth of his words.
"Krishna, Balram I've something to inform you" Kunti announced drawing everyone's attention.
Arjun watched his mother walking toward Draupadi and understood. Swiftly averting his eyes Arjun waited for her to speak.
"This beautiful princess of Panchala came into our lives like the goddess of fortune herself" She caressed Draupadi's cheek as she continued "And she will be the common wife of all five of my sons"
Balram's brows narrowed while Krishna remained calm. Balram looked at his younger brother and waited for him to speak but as usual his brother did exactly opposite of what he expected him to do, his Kanha stayed silent
