Gundham was rather surprised at the offer, a part of him thinking that Kazuichi had become uncomfortable with his bed. He looked back at his laptop for a moment, slowly shutting the lid before allowing himself to be dragged over to the bed, obviously quite flattered by the offer. As soon as the two of them were laying comfortably, Gundham wrapped his arms around him in a hug, holding Kazuichi close to his chest. "You are quite wonderful. Has anyone ever told you that?" He hummed, kissing his forehead. He truly did love praising the boy. Seeing him smile from a small compliment and watching as a blush would spread over his face really did make him feel wonderful. Giving Kazuichi such love was truly a dream come true.
The mechanic lightly bit down on his bottom lip as he shook his head. "Not really..." he replied with a weak chuckle, a light blush coating his cheeks at the praise.
"Well it's true. You're so incredibly wonderful, Kazuichi." Gundham was quite content with holding the mechanic, even if it was just for the morning. He liked just being able to see how his body moved slightly as he breathed, feeling those arms around his torso. He liked just being able to have him close, and now it was even better that he could kiss him.
Though, Kazuichi did pull back from their embrace, sitting himself up a little as he looked down at Gundham, smiling softly. He was trying to think of more ideas to make him feel better. He could tell the breeder was still down, and that it was his fault, and he wanted to fix that. He hummed silently in thought for a moment before carefully crawling on top of the others lap, watching a matching blush coat Gundham's cheeks. He knew he was probably one for praise too. After all, it seemed like he thought of himself as some kind of god, and while Kazuichi found that incredibly annoying, he couldn't help but miss it a little. He just seemed so happy in that state...even if he was cocky as fuck.

He slowly ran his hands along his torso, trying to comfort him with his touch as he allowed a small smile to make its way across his lips. "Jeez...I must be lucky, huh?" He started before letting out a quiet chuckle. "Someone like you falling for some kinda dirty mortal like me..." he mumbled out, cringing a little at his wording. But it was how Gundham would always speak, and he was just trying to match that to some extent.
"Do not say that about yourself." Gundham chuckled. It was honestly rather cute how he was mimicking his speech pattern, even if it was supposed to be teasing. "While your astral level is still rather trash, I would not call you dirty." Kazuichi's smile soon returned as he noticed that the other's demeanour had seemed to change slightly, back to the usual one he displayed while they were at school. He almost regretted attempting to bring him to that headspace because the second he started talking, he rolled his eyes. It wasn't as painful as it used to be; now that they had gotten closer, it was weirdly endearing to some extent. But he still never really understood why he was like this. "I have to admit, tamer of automations...I sometimes wonder if you even are mortal." Gundham seemed quite delighted with that thought turning his head away as he went over it in his head. "You are not anything like the beasts within my empire, and you are not a demon, even if you try to be." He laughed, finally looking Kazuichi in the eyes with a wide smile. "Perhaps you are the second angel I am to meet."
Kazuichi was only really taking in half of the things he said—the other half was practically nonsense to him. Nevertheless, he felt a light blush creep onto his cheeks at his comparison to an angel. He knew he was far from one, but the fact that Gundham saw him in that light almost made his heart flutter. He lifted up one of his hands to awkwardly scratch at the back of his head, letting out a quiet chuckle. "An angel, huh? And what makes ya say that?" he questioned with a small grin, allowing his hands to fall back down to his torso, before slowly lowering himself down to lay on top of him, resting his head in the crook of his neck. It was good Kazuichi was fairly flexible, otherwise this position would probably be somewhat uncomfortable.

Gundham seemed to think for a while, eventually moving a hand to gently pat Kazuichi's head with a hum. "Hearing you laugh is like a dream. You make me feel happy and safe. I love to hold you as close as I am now..." his voice had softened, clearly being quite genuine in his words. "Angels are beings of good, protection, and love. While they have the ability to sin, many walk a path of pure enlightenment. Even if you are to saunter downwards, you will forever be an angel in my forbidden eyes."
He really was so sweet when he wanted to be, and stupidly enough, those words really did make Kazuichi feel like he was different. Like he wasn't just a human, that he was special. He knew that feeling wouldn't last all too long, he knew what a foolish belief it was, at least that's how it felt to him. Sure, he's probably dismissed Gundham a few times for believing such things, but hearing him ramble on now, it really did seem that it was more than just some weird fantasy world in his head; he couldn't help but feel a little bad. But Kazuichi knew he couldn't be an angel. He was a sinner—at least that's what he would believe. He was lewd and dirty. He'd done bad things, hell, even right now he was just using Gundham for support. He wasn't pure and he knew that, but the fact that he saw him like that was sweet, and strangely comforting.
"...who was the first angel ya met?" He asked, knitting his brows a little in curiosity to try and stop himself from thinking too much.
Gundham seemed to frown a little at the question, turning his attention towards the ceiling. "The Angel is the one who created me...partly of course." He was never really one for talking about his past, but he felt like he could trust Kazuichi with that information. "I am a being of both Heaven and Hell after all. Neither heritage may accept me, which is why I am here on Earth." His grip on the mechanic tightened for a second, his gaze never leaving the ceiling as he spoke. "...she was kind. I am certain she loved me as much as an angel should care for her offspring. However...I am also certain she cursed my body..." he suddenly removed his left hand from Kazuichi, staring at it for a moment before letting it fall to his side. "The Demon surely cursed my mind, so I suppose such a thing isn't so bad."
Kazuichi didn't really understand any of this 'angel' and 'demon' stuff, and he was sure that there were probably more undertones to it that he simply just couldn't pick up, but whatever it was, it seemed to upset him to think about. "Curse your mind and body...? How?" He mumbled out with some confusion.
