The Anxious Texts

Kazuichi had just been sitting on his bed, taking apart random objects in his room as he usually would, before suddenly perking up with excitement the moment he heard his phone ding. He hoped it was Fuyuhiko wanting to hang out—maybe something did happen, and he would be able to repay him for all the support he'd given him recently. Not that he wanted something to have happened, he was just worried as to why he had run off earlier in the day.
"Sorry man...don't think I'll be at school for a while."
His eyes widened reading the message, typing a panicked reply back. Maybe it was selfish of him - he probably had yakuza shit he had to deal with - but this boy was the only reason Kazuichi hadn't been falling apart these past few days.
"Why?? Is everything okay?? Want me to come over??" He typed out with panicked and shaky hands. He had only been alone for a couple of hours at school today and it felt like literal hell! He didn't want to know what it would be like if he had to go any longer on his own, especially after everything that had happened recently.

Fuyuhiko didn't reply for a long while, and Kazuichi waited nervously for hours for a response. He contemplated just going to his place to check up on him, but he knew it was dangerous around there. He didn't want to end up getting himself or Fuyuhiko hurt.
"Nah. Got hurt. Tell you later."
"What happened?!" Was all he could type back as a response, and he knew that he probably wouldn't get another reply for ages. He thought it must be pretty serious considering he never let small injuries get to him, and if whatever happened meant he wasn't going to be at school for a while, then he must've been in some deep shit.

Kazuichi tried to fall asleep, but he simply couldn't. All he could do was toss and turn in bed and pray that his best friend was okay. Eventually he had to accept the fact that he wasn't going to fall asleep anytime soon, so he grabbed his phone once again before taking a deep breath, opening his messages with Gundham. Kazuichi knew this was a horrible idea. He knew he was going to fall back into that place he was in only a week ago, but he couldn't help himself. He didn't want to be alone. He was scared.
"You up?"

Gundham had gotten practically no sleep all week, being out of Kazuichi's arms really triggering his insomnia. He was currently laying on his bed, petting the cat that was curled up next to him before hearing his phone buzz. He suddenly sat up at the noise, confused and hopeful as to what it was for, his sudden movement also startling the cat. He leaned over to grab his phone, pulling the creature onto his lap before seeing the text.
Kazuichi.
He could feel his heart pick up in speed, a small blush spreading over his face. He couldn't be happier knowing the boy was still willing to talk to him, giving himself a good moment to indulge in it before texting back.
"Yes. What do you need?"

Kazuichu took a moment to mentally scold himself as he heard his phone buzz. He distantly hoped it would be Fuyuhiko explaining what had happened, but he knew that it was highly unlikely for that to be the case. He knew Gundham had feelings for him, and he knew that he would reply immediately. He sighed before picking up his phone and seeing exactly the message that he had expected.
"I'm not feeling great...wanna come over?"
He felt like his heart was beating out of his chest as he pressed send. He just felt even worse now. Maybe Gundham would reject him? It was late, maybe he wasn't bothered enough to come over? Half of him hoped that would be the case, but the other half needed him. He needed someone around, being alone wasn't going to change anything about how he was currently feeling, but he just simply didn't know if having Gundham over would just make everything worse. Would they kiss again? Cuddle? Would they end up having sex again? He didn't know and he didn't exactly want to find out, but at the same time, he did, more than anything. Even he didn't really know what he wanted anymore; he just didn't want to be alone.

Gundham's entire body tingled. He wanted this. He wanted this so bad. He'd wanted Kazuichi to come crawling back to him the entire time and now he had. He was hardly thinking about it at all, for if he was, he probably would've declined. After all, he needed to be home for his animals and he would've adored having Kazuichi beg to him.
But he didn't. Instead, Gundham sent back: "If you would like that. Just tell me the address." And he was already up and packing a small bag of a change of clothes. He didn't care what they did together, just that he'd be with his beloved again. He wanted his touch, his smell, everything. Even if they didn't kiss once, he'd be happy.
