I finally catch up to kensey.
" hey tris!" She says,
" hey!" I answer
" are you trying out for the dance team?" I ask her
" yea! I'm just nervous, I mean your amazing tris." She says
" thanks, you are too!" I say smiling.
" I'll see you at try outs!" She says
" bye!"
I get to my locker and four comes around.
" hey" he says smiling
" hii."
We walk to class together and what he does next surprises me, he grabs my hand and I entwine my fingers with his.
We get to math class and sit in my desk.
" tris who were you talking to this morning?" Christina asks me.
" oh that's kensey, were on the same team at the dance studio." I answer.
" oh she seems really nice." She says
" she really is."
I head back to my locker.
2 hours later.
Thank god it's finally lunch.
I grab my lunch and my phone out of my locker. I grab a seat next to four.
" so tris, tell me about kensey." Says Peter.
" well she's a freshman and were on the same team at the dance studio." I say.
I look up at Christina, and I see kensey, scared to death.
