If you don't try to hide something, do you really want it to be private?

Xander was, for once, excited to see Callas. He couldn't wait to tell him all about his night, and was pestering Dusk to hurry so they could get there.

He wore a turtleneck that morning, hiding the hand print on his neck. The sex with Ambrose had been mind blowing. However, he left some marks that were very hard to hide, including the bruises around his neck. He didn't mind, though.

"We're going to be early, baby." He said in the car, even after they stopped for coffee.

"I'll wait in the waiting room." He said. It was a lie--he knew Callas didn't see anyone before him, and there would be plenty of time to talk.

"What's got you so excited? You never want to go see him."

"I know, I know. But it's a secret. Callas can't tell anyone, so I can tell him."

"Would you keep a secret from me?" Dusk glanced over at him.

"Well...yes. But only if it's not my secret. I'd tell you if I get to, I promise." He pressed a kiss to Dusk's cheek as he slowed the car in the parking lot. "Would you keep a secret from me?"

"Maybe. You know I'd tell you when you'd need to know."

"Okay." He agreed easily. "You'll come get me at eleven thirty?"

"Text me if you need anything." Dusk said as Xander climbed out of the car.

In the same way kids decide that teachers have no life outside of school, Xander figured Callas did nothing but take clients. He assumed he lived by himself, maybe he had a few cats, and he was content in being single.

Which was why it was so shocking that Callas had a man on his lap, their lips locked in a deep kiss. It was even more surprising that Xander knew who it was.

"Mm," He heard Callas say when they pulled back for air. Xander was peeking through the door of the room, which was cracked open. "You'll have to go soon."

"Do I have to?" Dax mumbled against his neck. "I could stay here, under your desk, maybe..."

"Don't try to tempt me." Callas' hands slid down Dax's body, and the man easily melted under his touch.

"No? You wouldn't like that?" Dax's fingers cupped the bigger man's chin, tilting his head for a kiss. "I bet you would."

"My first client's a hybrid. They'd hear everything."

"Didn't you say that turned you on? The thought of getting caught?"

"I didn't--I didn't mean here."

"No? Then where? On the bus? At the diner? You want to come to my job and let me touch you?"

"Dax." His voice wasn't warning him, it wasn't harsh at all, and the other man laughed.
