Yet another talk was happening.

Xander looked guilty, and Dusk looked embarrassed. Ambrose sat with his arms crossed, glaring. Axel seemed confused, and no one spoke for a long time.

They had moved to the living room, and sat looking at each other. The silence was tense.

"Me and Ambrose and Parsley are dating." Axel said finally.

Eyes snapped to the three of them. Parsley rose an eyebrow when Aspen gave him a look, as if daring him to say something.

"Aspen, Xander and I are dating." Dusk said slowly. "And...Parsley, I thought."

Axel glanced at Parsley, who was looking at Xander, who looked embarrassed.

"You're dating them?" Axel said to Xander, a frown on his face. "Why didn't you say something?"

"It didn't happen till after. I didn't want to mess anything up." He didn't meet anyone's eyes.

"After what?" Dusk said, frowning.

"They...asked me to sleep with them. And I was. I have been."

"What?"

"It wasn't--I wasn't trying to make anyone mad. I just--" He swallowed, and almost shrunk in on himself more. "I wanted to be with everyone. I didn't want to say no."

"You should have--" Dusk frowned, and paused. He didn't want to get mad. "I see why you did it, but...it's still cheating, baby."

"I know. I know. I'm sorry. I just...I didn't want to make anyone mad. I thought it would be okay, and no one would be mad, but I didn't think--I was going to do something, I just didn't--"

"Hey, hey." Dusk cupped his cheeks, and Xander met his eyes with tears in his own. He looked scared, and worried they'd all hate him. "It's okay. No one's mad. Take a deep breath for me, okay?"

"I just--" His lip trembled. "I didn't mean to cheat. I promise I didn't."

"I know." He slid his hair up to scratch gently behind his ears, calming him slowly. He whimpered, but it worked, and he relaxed.

"Parsley, what about you?" Aspen said, turning the attention to the half-hybrid.

"They asked me twenty minutes ago. And they were planning on asking the rest of you soon. I wasn't going to do anything with them until they did. They weren't going to wait a year." It was harsh, and Aspen scowled.

"Is that how long you all have been together?" Ambrose asked.

"Dusk and I have been together for a year." Aspen murmured. "But we didn't cheat."
