Chapter 14

Alex's POV

"This is going to be so embarrassing..." Harry muttered as he struggled to walk in the skates.

I laughed and patted his back, "It's not that bad! I mean at least there isn't any other people because THAT, my curly haired friend, is embarrassing. "

Lou and Izzy were working their way out onto the ice and I followed them and grabbed Niall's hand.

We carefully stepped out and I was trying to make sure I'd stay up, since I hadn't been ice skating in a while.

"Hey this isn't too bad!" Niall said with a proud smile on his face. I looked at him funny and laughed.

"Ni, you're standing still. You haven't moved." I said. He rolled his eyes and said "yeah! Exactly! I haven't fallen while standing so I'm obviously doing something right."

"Okay, sure. Now let's start moving. Don't trust me too much on this I always fall." I warned him.

"I won't let you fall, don't worry!" He promised. I looked around and the three lads were slowly making their way around. Izzy was showing off her skating skills and helping Louis, who was doing surprisingly well.

I helped Niall around the rink, though I believe I stumbled more than he did. "Are you sure you've never done this before?" I asked as we skated.

"Are you sure you've skated before?" He teased as I stumbled again.

"Oh shush! I warned you!" I pouted at him. He smiled at me and stopped us.

"Confession time.... I have skated many times." He said with a sheepish smile. My mouth gaped open and I smacked his chest.

"Now I feel stupid! You liar!" I said with mock hurt. He laughed and put his arms around me and pulled me closer.

"Could I make it up to you?" He asked in a flirty voice. I smirked and nodded my head.

"How could I make it up to you, lovely?" He asked with a goofy smile.

"Hmmm.... With a kiss!" I said with a shy grin. He laughed and leaned down, giving me a sweet kiss in the lips.

"Oi! We came here to skate not make out, children!" Liam called. I rolled my eyes and laughed.

"Don't worry. I got you, Lex." He said. I looked up at him, raising an eyebrow. "Lex?" I asked.

"What? You call me 'Ni' so I am going to call you Lex." He defended himself.

I laughed and shrugged. "Fine by me." I wasn't looking where I was going as I started off by myself.

"Whoa!" A voice said. By the time I turned to look forward Izzy and I had crashed into each other and we fell over.

"Alex!" She groaned. I sat up and gave her a sheepish look. "Sorry, Iz..." I mumbled.

Lou came over and helped her up, but he was laughing pretty hard while he did. Niall helped me up and I rubbed the back of my head.

"The ice is really hard...." I announced. That resulted in lots of laughter from Izzy and the lads. "You figure that out yourself, love?" Zayn asked, controlling his laughter a bit better than the others.

"Alright. I think that's enough skating for one day. We can come back another day." Liam said, walking off the ice.

After we got back to the hotel we separated and left to our different rooms.

"Gah I'm cold!" I shivered still. "We'll that's what you get for wearing a short sleeved shirt to an ice skating rink." Niall laughed.

"Here. You can where this." He said tossing me his Ed Sheeran hoodie. I smiled and pulled it on.

"Thanks!" I said. I went into the bathroom and changed into sweat pants and then I threw my hair up in a messy pony tail.

After I was done changing I sat on the couch by Niall and cuddling under the blanket with him.

He wrapped his arm around me and flipped through the channels until he found a movie playing. He looked down at my half asleep self and pecked my lips before pulling the blankets up higher.

"Sweet dreams, princess." He whispered as sleep over took me.
