Chapter 21

Izzy's POV

I could tell how happy Alex was that Niall asked her to be his girlfriend. Her eyes just sparkled for the first time in a very long time. I have known Alex since we were little and I haven't seen her like this since she was little.

Not too long ago she dated a guy she thought loved her but he broke her heart and it took her weeks to recover. I never thought she would ever fall in love again. But Niall is so great for her. I think she has finally found her true love.

I went through a very heard break up the same time with her. We tried helping each other but we were hurting so much. The last thing we could do was cut. It hurt us but it took the pain away from our hearts. I never wanted to resort to that but we had no other choice. The pain of our break ups hurt us so much.

We still have the scars from it. They show on our wrist and our thighs and I am so lucky that Louis hasn't seen it. I'm scared he wouldn't see me the same if he saw my scars. I'm afraid he wouldn't love me anymore.

"Hey, beautiful" I heard a sweet accent say getting me out of my thoughts.

"Hey, lovely" I tell him putting on a fake smile. Thinking about all the breakup stuff made me upset and I was trying to hold back tears. It still hurt.

"What's wrong?" he asked with concern in his voice.

"It's nothing. I'm fine" I said smiling at him.

Louis's POV

I knew something was wrong with her. I could hear the sadness in her voice and the smile never met her eyes. 

"Iz you know you can tell me anything. I know your upset I can hear it" I said lifting her chin so her eyes could meet mine. Her eyes had tears ready to spill over her beautiful cheeks.

"I'm sorry" She said crying so hard she was shaking.

"Shhh, It's ok. Just tell me what's wrong" I whispered to her.

"I-I was t-thinking a-a-about my p-past b-break up. I-I can't h-handle a-another o-one L-Lou!" She said crying even harder.

"Shhhh calm down and tell me what happened" It took her awhile but she finally calmed down enough to tell me.

"2 years ago I was in this relationship with this guy who I was the one. He seemed like he loved me. I really thought he did. I was so in love. Then one day I-I came home to him. He had been ignoring me all day. I went into our room and found him cheating on me with someone else. He admitted that he was cheating on me with 2 different girls. He never really loved me. I was so heart broken. Alex went through the same thing. BUt her boyfriend only cheated on her with one girl. It was at the same time too. We were both so devisated..."  she trailed off at the end. That must have been terrible for her. But I hope she knew I wouldn't do that.

"You know I would never ever do that" I told her grabbing her wrist to look at me. There were bumps that normally shouldn't be there.

"Louis don't" she whispered as I pulled up her sleeves. I gasped at the sight. She had cuts running up her arm. She yanked her arms away and pulled her knees to her chest

"Why didn't you tell me?!" I yelled at her. I was so angry I was shaking and my hands were in fists. I never thought she was like this ever.

"I-I didn't want you to look at me differently. I didn't want you to stop loving me" she whispered the end of the sentence. Did she really think I would stop loving her?

"Izzy, I'm your boyfriend and you should have told me these things! Why would I look at you differently? Because what you did is not you!  I don't even know who you are!" all of a sudden she jumped up and ran out of the room down the hall. She didn't even stop to put shoes on. 

I tried to chase after her but she was already gone.

"What was all that about?" Liam askes as everyone runs out of their rooms. "We heard someone take off down the hall and we are the only ones on this floor" Liam says.

"Did you know?" I ask Alex.

"Know what?" Alex asked questioning.

"That she cut. She has scars on her wrists" I whispered. Alex all of a sudden got really pale and shakey.

"Alex what's wrong?" Niall asked her concern all over his face.

"Alex, can I see your wrists?" I asked her. She stayed frozen. I walked up to her and moved her bracelets only to find scars just like Iz.

"Alex" Niall said with sadness all over his face. They all went back to their rooms as I went to look for Izzy.

Izzy's POV

I took off crying and running to a random allyway. I hide behind a trash bin incase he came looking for me. I cried silently while looking to see if he passed the ally.

"Izzy! Isabella! Please come to me! I'm sorry!" I couldn't get myself to get up. I couldn't get myself to run into his arms. 

As soon as I thought he was gone I jumped up and ran back to the hotel as fast as my feet would allow me to run.

I ran into the room and locked myself into the bathroom and went to my bag. I had a razor in my bag for emergencies and I found it. I immidiatly started to make fresh cuts on my wrist. I felt the blood run down my arm. I made cut after cut knowing I should stop before I bled out. I felt myself getting dizzy. I layed on the floor and kept cutting. 

I heard the door open and someone run in. Louis.

"Izzy!" He said rushing around.

I cried harder and harder as I wass slowly fading out.

"Izzy!" he screamed trying to open the door. "Izzy please open the door!" 

I layed down in my blood the covered the floor. I couldn't stay awake any longer. The last thing I heard was the door slam open and Louis yell my name and arms grab me.
