Chapter 16 pt. 2
Alex's POV
"Whoa. This place is really fancy huh?" I said as we walked up to the fancy Italian restaurant.
"Go big or go home!" Louis said laughing. I laughed and sent a smug grin to Izzy, since I knew why we were having a fancy dinner.
I felt Niall take my hand and intertwine our fingers together. I smiled up at him and he leaned down and pecked my lips.
"You look beautiful." He whispered in my ear. I blushed and said a small thanks.
"You look quite dashing, as well." I replied a few moments later. He laughed and gave me a wink before letting me walk in the doors first.
"Reservation for Tomlinson, please." Louis said once we were all inside. The lady smiled politely and said, "right this way."
We followed her to a secluded part of the restaurant and sat down around the big table.
The young waitress came over and introduced herself as Melissa. She took our drink orders and left. We chatted until the drinks came and she took our orders.
After the food came and we finished eating Izzy and Louis shared a glance and he nodded.
"Alright, lads. I've got an announcement." Louis said as all eyes turned to him.
"Yesterday I asked Izzy to be my girlfriend. So, I would like you all to welcome her into our One Direction girlfriend club." Louis said with a serious face.
"You've got a club for that?" I asked, laughing. Louis laughed after that, too.
"No, but I would like it if we all kept this a secret from the public for now so Izzy and I can talk about how we want this to happen." He said. Izzy's smile was so big I thought her face might break.
"Cheers to Izzy and Louis!" Liam said raising his glass. We all followed suit and congratulated them.

Once we had gotten back to the hotel and I'd changed into shorts and a tank top, I looked to Niall and said, "I do believe you get to set up our first date now, Mr. Horan."
He smiled and sat beside me on the couch. "I do believe you are right. Don't you worry. Just be ready tomorrow night at 6. Wear something on the causal side." He said, pulling me into his side.
"I'll be ready." I smiled. We moved to the bed and just talked about life and ourselves as we laid there.
I yawned and closed my eyes. Niall shifted closer to me and pulled me to his chest.
"Sleep tight, love." He said. I cuddled into him and fell asleep.
The excitement of the day long behind us and the excitement of my date tomorrow with Niall simmering in my mind, waiting for me to wake up.
