Chapter 42

   Alex's POV

After I got off the phone with Izzy I rolled over so I was on top of Niall. I kissed his lips and his eyes fluttered open.

"Hey there, gorgeous." He said with a sleepy smile. I grinned and told him my conversation with Iz.

"That's great! I can't wait." He said, pulling me down onto his chest. I smiled and rested my head on his chest.

"Me either." I whispered. After a little while I got up and took a quick shower. When I got out I changed into a pair of shorts and a white v-neck shirt of Niall's.

We packed all our stuff back up and said our goodbyes to his family and left back to the airport.

We had just made it back to mine and Izzy's house. Niall and I dumped our stuff in my room.

"I'm so hungryyyyy." I groaned. He chuckled and grabbed my hand.

"You're sounding like me, love." He teased. We walked down the stairs and into the kitchen, careful not to wake up Louis and Izzy. We made a couple sandwiches, grabbed some bottles of pop, and two bags of chips.

"Is this really our midnight snack?" I asked, laughing at all our food.

"Of course it is. We are hungry people, Alex." He said matter-of-factly.

I giggled and went back up to my room with the food.

I woke up early the next morning and I couldn't get back to sleep so I walked down to the living room.

I saw Izzy messing around on her laptop so I plopped down beside her.

"Morning, Iz." I said smiling. She looked up at me and grinned, repeating my greeting.

"What're you up to?" I asked, moving to look at the computer screen.

"I'm looking at some different venue ideas for the wedding. What do you think?" She asked, showing me some of the places she'd bookmarked.

"I really like that one. I think we could really work with it. Make it look really pretty." I decided, looking at a fancy ballroom located in a big fancy hotel by a gorgeous beach.

"Really!? That's the one I was really liking, too!" She said, laughing. I laughed with her. This always happened. We were so alike that we almost always had the same likes and dislikes and we could practically read each others mind.

We decided to book it there so she called and set up the date while I looked around at decorations and bridesmaid dresses. Our bridesmaids were going to be the other lads girlfriends.

"Alright! It's all set!" She said excitedly. I giggled excitedly.

"How long?" I asked. She grinned smugly at me before replying.

"In exactly 2 weeks we are going to be getting married!" She said. I was so excited and nervous at the same time.

Izzy smiled at me, reading my mind. We finally decided on the decorations and bridesmaid dresses and all we had to do was wait for them to come in and then get it set up.

"Morning, beautiful." Louis' voice came from behind us as he wrapped his arms around Izzy.

I smiled at her and then looked back at Lou. Before Izzy could respond, I did.

"Awww! Good morning! Aren't you going to say good morning to your fiancé now?" I asked, pretended to be so flattered.

He rolled his eyes and flicked my nose. I pouted and playfully glared at him.

"Rude." I said dramatically. He laughed and kissed my forehead in a brotherly fashion.

I saw Niall walking down the stairs so I pretended to be hurt.

"Niiiiaaaal! Lou hurted me!" I said in a baby voice. Niall smirked and shook his head, already used to my silly antics.

"Did he now?" He asked, pretending to be mad at Louis. I nodded and Niall just chucked and asked where he "hurt" me. I pointed to my nose and Niall kissed it.

"Better?" He asked. I nodded with a huge grin on my lips. He laughed and pecked my lips.

"So how's the wedding planning coming?" Louis asked. Izzy and I told them all the details and how soon and everything. I do believe they were just as excited as Izzy and myself.

"This is great." Louis sighed, contentedly. We agreed before the lads walked in an we all decided to go out for the day.

Everything was going great. I was marrying the love of my life, my best friend was marrying the love of her life and we got to share the joy together. How could it be any better?
