"Jack! It is you!" The whiny one took to her feet and started to run towards us. Running towards Jack.
"It's so good to see you!" She ran straight into his arms knocking me off his back.
I got up off the floor and brushed the grass off my knees.
I looked up to see Ellie hugging Jack maybe a little too tightly and looking over his shoulder directly at me.
A smile crept across her lips. A sarcastic bitchy smile.
He doesn't like it when people hug him too tight, it makes him feel claustrophobic.
I muttered quietly to myself.
"What was that?" Evil Ellie released herself from the hug and stood facing me. Now I wasn't short, in fact you could even call me tall, but this girl made me look like a dwarf!
I opened my mouth to repeat the statement but before the words came out someone else spoke.
"He doesn't like it when people hug him too tight." Jessie's voice.
A feeling of warmth crept up inside of me and I smiled at the recognition of the fact that this was one of the reasons I loved my best friend so bloody much.
Ellie's whiny voice snapped me back to reality.
"And how do you know that?"
"Because I'm best friends with Scar, and know everything she knows and ever will know."
"Well how does she know?" Ellie pointed her finger at me and I stood there dumbstruck.
"Because..." Jess again, spoke on behalf of me. "She dated the boy for how long was it again Jack? The number escapes my memory, oh yes, 3 years. So that, is how she knows."
Evil Ellie stood there, looking dumbstruck as well as bimbo like which did help to ease the pain of the fact that she had her hand on Jack's arm.
Bitch.
Hang on a second, why the hell are you letting this bother you Scarlett Wilson? You've friendzoned him. You can't just suddenly get him out of the friendzone whilst dating his cousin just because you get jealous over him talking to other girls...
Flip...my life was getting a lot more complex than i thought.
I hadn't heard from Henry since that morning so I was pretty pissed off, but then again he was meant to be on holiday.
Jack and me were finished and if he had to let me do my own thing, I guess I had to let him to his. I couldn't just use him as my little rebound to keep the other guys away and protect me.
He needed to do that for other girls. Besides, I now had Henry to do all of this for me.
Be the new Jack.
What?! No?! That sounds bad.
That's why your saying it in your head instead doofus.
"Uhh...Scar is that your phone?" Charlie raised his eyebrows towards the name flashing up on my screen.
Henry.
"Shit!"
"Everything alright?" Jack shrugged Ellie off of him and began to make his way towards me.
"Yep! Everything's fine! I just really gotta take this."
And with that I took to my feet leaving my friends stood there watching me run away.
~
"Hello?"
"Girl?"
"That is me" I grinned like a loon.
"Where are you?"
"You know where I am...I told you this morning? I'm at the festival now."
Henry lightly sighed, "Yes dear, I know that I meant where are you in the festival?"
"Oh! Totally knew that! Umm I'm by a big lemonade stall?..."
I turned to face the giant stall filled with cups of freshly made lemonade.
"Actually...I might just buy myself one..."
I held the phone to my ear with my shoulder whilst I paid for a glass of lemonade. Henry stayed quiet until I finally spoke.
"Right, so where are you then? Feels rude not asking you if you're asking me...also please can you go someplace quieter because I think I can hear the people around you more than I can hear you? Are you at a Spanish market or something?"
Henry's warm laugh filled my ears.
"Scar..."
"Mmm?" I said slurping lemonade.
"Turn around."

Untitled love song
Teen FictionMaybe that was how it was meant to be, 'forever untitled', maybe there wasn't even a song to be sung, but maybe, just maybe, everything happened for a reason and the our story is untitled is because it's still hasn't finished being written.
