I got to my feet screaming with all I had. Charlie joined me, not in the screaming but in order to desperately outrun me and stop me from what was about to take place between me and Jessie.
"BITCH!" I leapt in between the incredibly small space between Henry and Jessie, taking them both to the floor with me.
Henry cursed loudly but I couldn't make out his actual words, all sounds around me were ringing and all images blurring.
All apart from one.
"HOW DARE YOU?!" I slapped Jessie with all my power causing tears to spring in her eyes. "Don't even think about turning on the waterworks." My tone was bitter and my actions unexpected, but could you blame me? Never had I dealt with something like this before.
Jessie was rubbing her face where a red mark had started to appear "Before you freak out-"
"BEFORE I START TO FREAK OUT?! That ship sailed a long fucking time ago, precisely when you thought it appropriate to KISS MY FUCKING BOYFRIEND!"
Jessie lowered her head, tears rolling down her cheeks. "It meant nothing! I just needed someone to make Charlie jealous!"
"That's your excuse?!" I screamed back at her.
"Scar please," Jessie tried to grab my hand but I snatched it away from her before getting to my feet.
The emotion and upset of it all had finally overridden all the anger.
"I-I-I think you should stay in Ellie's tent with her." Tears began falling down my cheeks as the image of her kissing Henry filled my head.
Jessie began sobbing, "I didn't mean to...I'm sorry, please forgive me, please." Her sobs became hysterical as she continued to plead with me.
"Leave me alone." My voice began breaking.
I began to walk towards my tent, not looking back to answer Jessie's cries.
"Girl."
Hearing his voice caused me to collapse to my knees. Thankfully the tent had been closed before I could curl up into a ball.
Henry sat down beside me and I put my head in his lap. "What's Jessie doing?" Curiosity got the better of me as I could hear Jessie's continuous sobs.
"I think she's calling her mum to come and get her?..Scar?"
I looked up to meet his gaze.
"Do you want to talk about it?" He asked with a hesitant tone.
"What time is it?" I ignored his question for the meantime.
"Just gone 1." Henry replied whilst tucking a loose strand of hair behind my ear.
How had the night gone by so quickly?
"Oka-"
"Guys," Charlie poked his head into the tent.
The pair of us turned to look at him.
"Jessie's just on the phone to her mum, she's getting picked up in about an hour and Scar?.."
A sickening feeling arose in my stomach as I already knew what he going to ask.
"The answers no." I replied coldly before lying down.
I waited to hear more pestering from Charlie but instead it was Henry who responded to my answer.
"Girl, you're better than this, and by going out there and listening to what she has to say, no matter how unnecessary it may be for you, you'll be being the better person. I'm not saying you should forgive her but listen to what she has to say, then walk away."

Untitled love song
Подростковая литератураMaybe that was how it was meant to be, 'forever untitled', maybe there wasn't even a song to be sung, but maybe, just maybe, everything happened for a reason and the our story is untitled is because it's still hasn't finished being written.
