Chapter 14: Garrett vs Chris the battle for faith

"It's been a while since I've had a good fight now Garrett let's dance shall we." Chris says with a evil look on his face and cracks his knuckles."Your gonna fight a guy who fell off of a cliff to save someone, either way I'll still kick your ass." I say as I blow dust off of me. After I say that Chris comes charging at me with his fist ready to strike. "Going for brut force I see." I say as I dodge his fist."Man your really slow at. My god man where did you learn to fight." I say as I get in my fighting stance. "Shut it!" He yells at me as he gets up and charges at me. He throws his fist hoping to hit me but failed cause I move to the left and he falls over and does a role and gets back up. "Let me ends this battle so you don't hurt yourself anymore. Shadow Dragon, Roar. Go into where you belong into my shadow." I say as I launch a a wave of shadows at Chris and he tries dodging but fails. He falls to the ground in pain and I walk on back to the city but when I get there only to see faith trying to get out and break the magic seal I put on her and then I undo the magic seal and she comes running into my arms in tears worried. "GARRETT GARRETT I was so worried about you why'd you do that to me why!?" She asks as she's in tears. "Why you ask? Cause I didn't want you to see me one shot your ex boyfriend plus I wanted to come back home seeing you cause you make me smile." I say as I stroke her hair and lean her up against my shoulder. "Garrett.... Garrett.. I love you." she says as she keeps on crying. "faith I love you to." I say to her as I pick her up onto my back. I walk up to her door step of her house only to be greeted by her mom the one who kinda likes me but not really and her dad right behind her. "Here's your daughter back, sorry on the timing." I say as I lay her on the ground." You little.. I'm gonna kill you. If you did something to harm her I'll have your head." faiths dad says as he lifts me up by the front of my shirt. I can tell he works for my dad by the mark on his arm. "I see you work for my dad. How dare you try and where that symbol with pride my father is a demon who has a bone to pick with his own son." I say as I push him away from me and I see Faith waking up. "I'll be going now." I say as I walk away towards the palace. I enter my room in the palace and I see a ghost... more like something I may be imagining my brother but my Brother is dead and I'm to blame for that. It's seems like my past is catching up with me. I hear my phone ringing and it's the fire magic council member kouil. "Garrett we're going to have a meeting tomorrow is that ok with you?" He ask. "Sorry the tourment is tomorrow can we maybe have it next week either that or I can't be there so." I say as I start to change into my relax clothes. "That'll be fine I'll tell the others that we'll need to have it another day." he says as he hangs up. "Man he's really nice to me, it seems like he's the only one who respects me out of all of them well then there's lighting Sakai who's really nice to me and he taught me how to use basic lighting magic then I learned I my won but then I'll never be able to be as good as laxus he's the strongest in all of heaven."
