Ami drank a bit more, then stopped. Her head felt empty as she smiled and got up. Her balance was slightly off.
Mizuki held her gently. "Ami, maybe you drank a bit much for your first time." Then he thought, "It's probably my fault. Should have been a bit more cautious."
Ami began muttering random things. Things like "Kei is really annoying sometimes. I didnt flirt with her boyfriend." and "I think you're super handsome, Mizuki. You're handsome and cute. I have no idea how that makes sense, but it does to me." and "I want to hug Nanami."
Mizuki smiled at how cute Ami was. His heart skipped beats when she called him handsome and cute. "You know, I've accidently gotten drunk in the past too. I was distracted and drank too much sake." He admitted to her.
"Oh, wow." Ami replied. "I want to dance with you." She then said out of the blue.
This embarrassed Mizuki. He didn't usually dance, so he was a bit self conscious. "Really, Ami?"
She nodded vigourasly in his arms.
"Uhhm," He pondered.
He was saved by the snake. He'd almost forgotten about it. Now, it had slithered through underneath the door and was signalling to Mizuki to open the door.
Mizuki opened the door to reveal a huge bag that the snake had pulled all the way here.
Ami was still in his arms. "That's your snake?" She asked.
"It is." He replied.
"Cool. Snake." She said.
Mizuki let go of Ami to pick up the bag and place it on a table. Opening it, he looked inside to see all the things he had asked for earlier that morning.
He pet the snake and Ami soon inched closer to them. She also pet the snake, but it got startled and left when she did.
Ami frowned and sighed.
"It's ok." Mizuki reassured her. " It doesn't hate you or anything. It just takes time for it to warm up to people. The two of you will be friends one day, I'm sure."
Then, she smiled warmly and embraced Mizuki in her arms, making him blush and smile.
They hugged for a few moments. The door opened. Two customers came in. Ami - who had her back to the door - didn't see who it was that entered.
They weren't just any customers though. Mizuki definetely recognised one of them.
The position that the two of them were in was quite awkward. When Mizuki tried to free himself though, he couldn't. Ami had a strong and dominant grip on him.
"Well well well." The guest said. "I'm curious as to what's going on here. Especially between this dumb snake and this naive girl."
Mizuki kissed his teeth. Of all the people it could have been, it was him.
