"Ami! How are you this morning?" Mizuki yelled as he ran to Ami.

Ami's eyes widened slightly. She was glad, yet surprised to suddenly be seeing him again. Earlier, she was thinking about Mizuki, yet she thought that she may not ever see him again. "Hey, Mizuki. I'm ok. I rested well last night and I feel a lot better now." Ami replied in her gentle voice.

The two hugged each other tightly. It was warm and pleasant for both of them.

"How are you, Mizuki?" Ami asked, coming out from the hug.

"I was quite worried about you, to be honest. But I rested well too, so I'm fine."

"Aw, I feel kind of bad for making you worry." Ami said.

"It's fine!" Mizuki quickly reassured. "We're friends now, right? So it's natural."

Ami blushed subtly, which Mizuki noticed. "Yeah! We're friends!"

"That's great." Replied Mizuki. He didn't feel like leaving her here. He wanted to stay by her side. There was something special about her.

They both gazed into each others eyes for a moment. It was a beautiful moment, where they both felt as though they were soul mates who had finally found each other after being separated for so long.

Ami broke the silence. "You work alone, right?"

Mizuki nodded, curious as to what she would say next.

"Well, uhm, I'm free on some days of the week. I don't mind helping you, if it's ok with you."

A smile appeared on Mizuki's face. "Sure, I'd gladly employ you, but Tomoe is the boss if my company. So, I'm going to need to ask him about all the procedures or whatever that happen to employ someone."

"Thanks, Mizuki." She replied.

The two of them went to find Tomoe. He was in the garden, watering the flowers and the vegetable plants that they had.

They explained their request to him.

"If you ask me," Tomoe began with a smirk, which Mizuki had a bad feeling about. "I'd say that you two have some interesting feelings for each other."

Mizuki glared into Tomoe's eyes. Tomoe looked at Mizuki and whispered, "That's what you get for making me realise my feelings for Nanami. Only, I have made it much more embarrassing and unbearable for you."

"You damn fox! Just wait until I get my revenge on you!" Mizuki whispered back aggressively.

Ami spoke up. "Yes, and what if that's the case? Does it change anything?"

Tomoe and Mizuki instantly turned to look at her. They both thought the exact same thing. 'She's quite a bold human girl, isn't she? I don't know if she even undertood what she heard. Maybe she's naive and innocent like her friend, Lady Nanami?'

Tomoe answered, "Hm, interesting point you've got there. Sure, you can work with the snake, though I don't know why you would want to."

Tomoe than turned his gaze to Mizuki. "I'd like to have a private chat with you." Then, to Ami, he said, "Nanami is probably getting ready to go to her university now. You can go and meet with her and go together if you wish."

Ami nodded, said "Thank you, I'll see you again later." and left.

Now, Tomoe and Mizuki were alone in the garden.
