When Mizuki entered the room, Ami was leaning against the wall, asleep. He walked towards her and checked her temperature. It was a little warm, but fine. He smiled at her and embraced her gently.
"Do you want to wake up? Or would you rather stay here for the night?" He whispered as he got closer to her ear.
"Stay." She answered, causing Mizuki to flinch. He didn't expect her to be awake and to answer.
Laughing quietly, he said, "Sure. The guests have left now. What would you like to do?"
"Hmmm" She hummed a bit, then went silent.
"She must be asleep now. Where can I take her? There aren't any beds around here. Think, Mizuki. What about the Mikage shrine? That's a great idea! She could wake up to see Nanami. I'm sure that would make her happy." He thought as he gazed at her sleeping peacefully.
He called for his snake. It soon arrived and waited for its orders. "Carry her to the Mikage Shrine please. And take me with you."
The snake grew large enough for Mizuki and Ami to climb upon. Carefully, he helped her get on, and held her as they went out and took off into the sky.
Throughout the entire journey, Mizuki carefully and firmly kept his arms around her. To keep her safe and prevent her from falling of cource. It totally wasn't because he had deep feelings for her or anything.
After some time, the Mikage shrine was in sight. The snake descended with Mizuki and Ami on it.
They landed just in front of the front door. Mizuki carefully knocked on the door, still holding onto Ami.
The door soon opened. This time, Onikiri and Kotetsu were there.
"Good evening, Master Mizuki." Onikiri began.
"What do you require?" Kotetsu asked.
"Please get either Tomoe or Lady Nanami here please." Mizuki replied softly to the kind natured spirits.
They immediately went off, and returned soon with Nanami.
"Everything o-" Nanami began saying as she walked up to them. "Ami? What happened to her? Is she ok? " She ran to them and put her hand on Ami's forehead.
"She's a little drunk. Not too much though. It's her first time. And, she fell asleep. So, I thought it was best to bring her here. Is that ok with you?"
Nanami's expression changed. "Oh, I see. Thanks for bringing her here. Don't worry we'll take care of her here. You should head back to work."
Tomoe appeared behind Nanami.
Mizuki then hurriedly ran off to his snake and flew off, frightened of having to explain the situation to Tomoe.
Meanwhile with Tomoe and Nanami.
"Can you take her to my room please and put her on my bed? Don't wake her up. And be gentle with her." Nanami ordered Tomoe.
Because of the familiars contract being sealed between them, Tomoe had to obey all of Nanami's commands.
"Yes, dear Nanami." Tomoe replied as he gently took Ami from Nanami and carried her to Nanami's room.
He thought to himself, 'That stupid snake. He can't do anything right. He can't even take care of a simple human girl. Tsk.'
