"Good morning, miss." Mizuki greeted the young woman.

The young woman with the pink hair jumped slightly as she didn't notice he was there. She turned and looked up into Mizuki's eyes. There was quite a height difference as the woman was around 5ft 3, and Mizuki was around 5ft 8.

"Good morning, sir." She stuttered slightly, seemimg shy.

This made Mizuki smile. He thought that she was really cute with her innocent-looking eyes and gentle voice. He also found their height difference quite adorable.

He was just annoyed with himself that she seemed so familiar, but he couldn't recognise who she was.

"I'm sorry if I scared you." Mizuki apologised.

The woman looked away from his sea green eyes. "It's ok." She muttered.

"Anyways, I work in this sake shop alone. Would you like to come in and try some?" Mizuki offered.

"Oh, I've never had sake before. I just recently became old enough to drink, but haven't had a chance to try, you know." She answered.

Mizuki nodded. In that case, this woman was around Nanami's age. "All the more reason to try some!" He encouraged.

The woman laughed sweetly. "Sounds good."

Mizuki was already in love with her laugh, her voice and her personality. "Slow down." He thought to himself. "You got to take this slow. Don't ruin this like how you ruined your one chance with Lady Nanami."

"My name is Mizuki. You seem really familiar to me. What's your name, miss?"

"Mizuki?" The woman repeated the name. She was silent for a few moments as she was thinking. "Oh! Mizuki! It's me, Ami. I remember you from that day when I was still in school. Nanami, Tomoe, Kei and I went to the beach one day. You were there too, weren't you?"

Mizuki was super glad to be remembered. "Yes, I was there. Do you still keep in touch with Nanami and Tomoe?" Finally, he remembered this girl.

Ami replied, "I know those two are dating. I haven't spoken to them for quite a while though."

Mizuki said, "Ok," as he opened the door and gestured for Ami to step in. "The two of us should catch up and talk about stuff, while you try some sake for the first time." He added.

"Sure!" Ami blushed lightly as she hurried indoors.

Mizuki smirked. Ami was really cute, and he wanted to try and get closer to her.

He stepped in after her and shut the door.

Ami was looking all around her. With glowing eyes, she said, "It's beautiful in here. I love the decorations and it's so clean here too."

"Thank you," Mizuki smiled. "Yet, this place is nowhere near as beautiful and clean as you."

Ami paused for a moment and freezed. Then, she went red and hid her face with her hands, smiling with embarrassment. "Ahh, thanks." She muttered.

Mizuki's heart thumped loudly in his chest. His pick up line was a bit embarrassing, but it worked since it made her blush and smile.

"Do you want to sit down by one of the tables?" Mizuki offered, trying not to laugh at how flustered he managed to make her.

"Sure." And she sat down near the window. "How have you been, Mizuki? I remember that day we all went to the beach. Though I didn't speak much to you, my friend Kei shouted at you because you were eating ice cream instead of worrying about Nanami when she got lost."

Mizuki chuckled lightly at the reminiscence. "I remember that day. I was extremely worried about dear Nanami, but I still wanted to enjoy my ice cream. It's not fair that your friend shouted at me. She also hit me!"

Now Ami laughed for a bit.

"But if I'm honest," Mizuki continued, now more serious than before. "I've been quite lonely. But, how have you been, dear Ami?"

"Oh," Ami replied. "I've had an argument with Kei a while ago. Now things are sort of awkward between us. I've felt a little, not like myself if I'm honest."

Mizuki nodded. The two kept eye contact for a few moments, before they looked away, blushing.

"So, I'll get the sake and the two of us can drink a bit. Have you had breakfast?" Mizuki asked.

"No, I haven't had any breakfast." Ami replied.

"Do you want to cook something with me, then?"

"Sure!"
