XXXI: Call It A Date (Rosaline's POV)

I opened my eyes to the sunlight warming my face up through the window. I slowly sat up in my bed yawning and stretching. I looked at my little digital clock on the drawer next to my bed. 10:32. My phone on its charger next to it and the schedule with Dr. Aono's number on it. I picked up the card and stared at the number. I'll call her later today. Maybe grab some coffee or a meal. I took my phone off it's charger and unlocked it. I should add this number before I lose this card. Contacts. Add contact. Dr. Aono. Number. Save. Now I don't have to worry about losing this card. I stood up and out of bed, slowly making my way to the bathroom. On my way, I peeked into my brother's room. As usual, he was shirtless and lightly drooling on his pillow. How will he ever get a girlfriend?

I stepped into the bathroom and looked in the mirror. My face was a mess and my hair was everywhere. I washed my face, brushed my teeth, and brushed my hair. Time for the final step, I grabbed a hair band and turned my hair into a ponytail. Now I look normal. I went back to my room to change into my casual clothes. A pair of jeans and a T-shirt. I have some errands to run today while I wait for the right time to call Dr. Aono. I have to wake Avel's lazy ass up, go to the bank, get groceries, and then call Dr. Aono and go on a date with her. There is so much to do today. I better hurry if I want to have enough time for a date with Aono. I walked into my brother room and started my first task. 'Wake Avel's lazy ass up'. I cleared my throat as I stood next to my brother's bed.

"WAKE UP AVEL!!!!!!!"

I saw Avel jump up and fall out his bed. Now lying on the floor I looked down at him while he stared up at me.

"Morning Avel."

"Did you really have to do that?"

"Yes I did."

He sighed as he laid down on the floor and didn't bother getting back up. Well, close enough. I say I did my job. I walked out of his room and prepared for my next task. I grabbed my bag and my phone as I went out to do my errands. I went to the bank and got cash money for days. I went to the super market to get groceries. Eggs, milk, carrots, lettuce, tomatoes, bananas, and bread. I got home and started to bring in the groceries by myself. Avel was doing what ever he does. Once I put the groceries away I got my phone out and opened Dr. Aono's contact. Time to make a date. I hit call and just listened to it ring. Ringing three times before she awnsered.

"Hello?"

"Hey Dr. Aono. It's Rosaline."

"Hey Rosaline. What is it?"

"I was wondering if maybe after you get off work, we could go grab a drink? Maybe a meal?"

"Well I get off work in like thirty minutes. Why don't you come over here and pick me up and we'll call it a date."

"That sounds great. I'll see you soon Dr. Aono."

"Call me Serena."

After that she hung up. Her name is Serena. That's a nice name. I couldn't help but smile. I was so excited. I got a date with a pretty lady later today.
