I was leaving work, saying bye to my co-workers and finishing my last things up as usual. I grabbed my stuff and stepped outside. With no surprise I see Rosaline standing outside waiting for me.
"Hey Serena, are you up for a meal? Maybe at my place?"
"Your place already? You must really like me if I'm going to your place on a first date."
"Well I do like you. I just think it's a great way to get us started."
"But I'm still in my work clothes. I can't go like this."
"No it's fine. You won't need them anyway."
"W-What?"
I blushed at this fact. Did she just say I won't need my clothes? I mean it's the first date. Is this another one night stand? I at her then she turned red and earned a surprised look on her face.
"W-Wait! Not like that! I just meant that the clothes you wore weren't really important! And ummmm... I'm not recovering this am I?"
"Not even a little sweetie."
Rosaline sighed then took me to her place. She parked it the driveway and I looked at the house from in the car. It was big. Well at least I think it was. I always lived in an apartment so I can't tell. It had a nice lawn and big windows out front. I stepped out the the car and looked in the driveway.
"Another car? Do you live with somebody?"
"Yeah. It's just my brother. You'll meet him when we get inside."
"First date and I'm meeting family. I must be some special lady."
Rosaline giggled at me and opened the door to her house. We walked inside and I was amazed. It was so much bigger than my apartment. So spacious. So free. This would be great for parties.
"Brother! Come out here! I have someone you should meet!"
I looked over at Rosaline and stared at her.
"Do I really need to meet him? I mean, this is only the second time we've been in each other's presence. Isn't this moving a bit fast meeting family an-"
"SERENA!?"
I looked over to the living room to see a familiar face.
"AVEL?!?"
"Y-you guys know each other?"
Avel walked up to Rosaline and I staring me up and down.
"What are you doing here Serena?"
"What are you doing here Avel?"
"I live here. I'm the brother of this girl you gave your number to."
"Well then. We'll be seeing each other more often."
Rosaline butted in between Avel and I and stared at me.
"How do you know my brother?"
"Well, how do I say this... Ummm"
"She stole my future girlfriend!"
"I did not steal your future girlfriend! She came to me! And she was a lesbian! She wouldn't date you!"
"Wait... You stole my brother's future girlfriend? Explain."
"Sit down Rosaline. This is going to be a long story."
We all sat on the couch with Rosaline sitting between Avel and I just in case we try anything. I starting explaining the situation between Avel and I. How I became his crush's girlfriend and 'stole' her from him. How the whole time during my relationship with Amelia, Avel was mad at me. I returned the favor by showing off to Avel how much Amelia and I liked each other. Constantly kissing and making out everywhere just so Avel could see. After she left, Avel and I both sort of let her go, but our grudge against each other still stood.
"So let me get this straight. You, became Amelia's girlfriend. Avel hated it, you taunted him with her. Then she left and you guys just sort of have a standing grudge against each other?"
"Yeah."
Avel and I both spoke simultaneously. We both sent death glares at each other.
"Well..."
I stood up and looked at both Rosaline and Avel.
"This was a.... Great first date. Ummm I think I'll just go. I'll see you later Rosaline. Avel."
I gave Avel one last glare before turning around and walking back to the door.
