XLVIII: Catching Up (Serena's POV)

Amelia and I have spent our day catching up on things. We did it all while walking through the park. Just so that if anything happens, we're in public. For witnesses. Anyway, I found out that she left for a college across the country. She didn't tell me because she feared I would change colleges and not become what I wanted just so we could be together. I wouldn't have done that. Maybe. Okay I probably would have, but whatever. I didn't get too.

I found out that she tried too stay faithful to me while she was away. Even though she kind of ended us anyway. She stayed a virgin and didn't get a girlfriend through college. Meanwhile, I'm over here drinking and having one night stands at least once a week. She is pretty mad at me about it, but it's her fault for leaving. For the most part, I'm not as mad at her for leaving. Still a little bit. Plus she broke my nose before my left.

We just talked for a while, walking through the park and sharing our experiences without one another. We just sort of slowly stopped talking and slowly got a little more... Touchy... I have no idea how it started, but now we're making out on a park bench. I don't know why we are, but I'm enjoying it. I'm pretty sure she's enjoying it. Maybe enjoying it a bit too much. I can feel her hand running up my thigh and start to go under my shirt. I grabbed her hand to stop her from going any further and backed out of the kiss.

"We're in public Amelia. You can't be doing that."

"But I've been waiting for so long for you Serena. I want you so bad. When can we do this already?"

"Well we could have done it five years ago but you broke my nose."

"Really? Are you always going to bring that up? Can't we just get past that?"

"Well we were half naked, about to have sex with each other, you knee my nose, and then my mom sees us in lingerie. I don't know if I can. Did you know my mom likes to bring it up as a joke?"

"I said I was sorry okay. I never meant to break your nose. You know that. I just wanted us to you know... make sweet love..."

She then started to slowly kiss my neck. It felt great, excellent, but I know exactly what she is trying to do. I could feel her hand starting to slide up my stomach once again, this time I smacked her arm.

"I told you, not now, we're in public. We're in a damn park Amelia. Have some self control."

"But I've been holding in the temptation for so long Serena... C'monnnnnnn..."

"Seriously, can't you wait until we get home later?"

"I've waited five years. Isn't that long enough?"

"Okay, now you're being childish. You left on your own fault. Don't blame me."

"But that's doesn't matter... I'm like in the zone Serena. I'm like a total horn dog right now. Can we please do it now?"

"We're in public Amelia. Stop asking. You can wait."

"Then can we do it in the car? Please. I can't make the car ride home."

"Seriously? In the car? Are you crazy?"

"Pleeeeeeaaaaaasssseeeeeeeee"
