After the tea party at the broadcasting club Akai didn't bother to tell her other friends about the meeting. In fact she was acting as if the whole thing hadn't happened, there wasn't really a need to anyway.
It was just a tea party with some nice ghosts and a few living kids. Nothing too bad. She did plan to be a bit more cautious around them going forward after receiving that warning for Mitsuba. But outside of that she didn't have much reason to not trust them. They hadn't done anything to her. She'd keep Mitsuba's warning in the back of her mind.
As for now things were pretty normal. "Hanako-Kun!" Akaibara said skidding to a stop in Hanako's bathroom.
"Akai-Chan, you're louder then normal, is something going on?" The wonder asked getting up from his windowsill. He held out a hand and one Hakujoudai floated over to hover above his palm while the other was over his shoulder. He asked that with a tone that told Akai that he was hoping that he wouldn't have to get up to slay any ghosts.
"No, I just felt like doing that. There's nothing wrong." Akai reassured him and Hanako immediately relaxed. Were the semi-frequent violent spirits getting into the school stressing him that much? Poor guy "But I do want something from you; Can you teach me how to do that?" She pointed at him while he was still floating off the ground.
"Do what? Command the Hakujoudai?" Hanako guessed "Sorry Akaibara-Chan but that's something really only I do. Kinda like Yako and her dolls." He said
"No not that! Floating! Can you teach me how to do ghost stuff, please? All I can really do is phase through people and that's kinda of a thing everyone can do. I wanna do more complicated things like floating, teleportation, and possession." She told him
"Oh okay, but baby steps, you're not gonna learn to teleport on day one. But with possession; any ghost can do that in less then one lesson. It's simple is what I'm saying." He said
"So you'll teach me?" She asked lifting her hands up together holding onto the butterfly broach on her vest.
Hanako floated over to her and put a hand on her shoulder "Yeah of course, I've got nothing else to do until Nene and Kou get out of class. Plus it'd be fun." He said

"Ok first things first." Hanako said standing close to the window while Akai was in the middle of the bathroom. "In order to float you must allow yourself to feel lighter then the air around you. Try hopping." Hanako said
Akai did as she was told and jumped but put her feet down and they made contact with the floor again just like a normal hop.
"Ok good, now try again but keep your feet up. Also don't imagine yourself falling back down. Try to make yourself think you'll stay in the air when you jump." Hanako instructed
Akai nodded and did as he said. She kept her feet up. But she still fell back down, just a bit slower and landing on her butt this time. Hanako himself cringed when he heard the thud.
"Ow..." Akai muttered and then got herself back up. She dusted off her dress and straightened her glasses "Are you sure you know what you're doing here..?" She asked
"I assure you I do." Hanako told her "This is how it worked for me at least... why don't we try a different approach? Grab my hand." He levitated over to her and stretched out his hand. Akai gave him a questioning look "C'mon don't you trust me? You wanted to learn how this works didn't you?" He asked.
"You're right." She agrees and takes his hand.
When she took his hand Hanako felt a small shiver run up his spine and he had to resist the urge to pull his hand away. She was so cold! And sure most ghosts were freezing but this was even worse then himself! And now that he got a closer look, her finger nail beds were blue. And her lips were tinged blue too. Her glasses even had a barely noticeable frosted window look to them around the edges especially.
