Kou, Hanako, and Akaibara all sat together on the roof on a Picknick blanket. Kou was the only one eating here as Akaibara and Hanako didn't really need to.

Kou was munching on a sandwich as the three of them waited for Yashiro to join them. She was taking an awful long time to grab a lunch box.

Aside from the sandwich Kou also brought a small bag of powdered mini doughnuts that Hanako had been eyeing for a minute now but Kou paid him no mind.

"Did she get lost somehow?" Akaibara asked looking to the door that led from the roof to the inside of the school.

"Or run into a guy?" Hanako added, only half joking.

Then as if they had summoned her Yashiro came through the door with a white and cherry blossom petal patterned lunchbox in hand. And a hole in the side of her dress?

Nene stopped to pant like she had just ran three miles before walking over to them "Sorry guys, I had to stop and grab a bandaid. Some student in the art room sat out this big broken frame and I'd cut my leg on it when I walked passed. But I'm fine now, though I might have to get a new dress." She said lifting the part that had been torn for the others to see. It was a pretty big hole.

"Ouch, are you sure you're alright senpai?" Kou asked

"Oh yeah I'm fine, it was the dress that took most of the damage." Yashiro reassured him waving a hand dismissively.

"Oh I think I might have something for your dress, Yashiro-San." Akai piped up and dug around in her pocket for a moment. She pulled out a sewing kit she had on her for some reason and gestured for Nene to scoot over next to her.

Yashiro watched as Akaibara picked out an off white thread and put it through the needle's opening before starting to stitch the hole closed.

"You know you really don't have to do this Akai-Chan, I can sew it myself." Nene said, most likely just trying to be modest.

"Oh don't worry, I just want to see if I still know how to do this." Akaibara answered not looking up from her stitching. Not even looking up for the wrestling going on between Kou and Hanako as Kou desperately tried to keep his doughnuts away from the ghost. "C'mon kid! Just one? Please?" Hanako asked only to be met with "In your dreams polturdgeist! Didn't we bake for you like three times already?! Just let me have these!" Kou retorted and the fighting continued

"Boys." Nene rolled her eyes at the childish fight "I know right?" Akaibara simply smiled "Aaand, done! Good as new." Akai backed up and admired her work.

The stitching looked so nice that you wouldn't even be able to tell the seam was there unless you had it pointed out to you.

"Wow this is great, Thanks Akai." Nene briefly admired it too before finally opening up her lunch box and eating some rice balls she made for herself.

"Oo what's in those?" Akai asked as she put her sewing supplies away.

"Tuna, Mayo, and I put a bit of radish in there too." She said before taking other bite.

"Ahh, cool." Akai nodded and sat Indian style. She stared off into the distance for a few seconds before saying something barely above a mutter "Cannibalism." She said causing Nene to choke for a second. Akai laughed a bit but once Nene got herself together she swiftly punched Akaibara in the arm. Man Nene hits hard! That really stung!

What felt like too soon as usual the bell rang and lunch was over. Nene and Kou waved their ghoul friends goodbye and left them alone on the Picknick blanket together.

Together they laid there in silence watching the clouds. Or at least Akai was. Hanako put his hat over his eyes a while ago and probably dosed off by now. His Hakujoudai laid down too at either side of him, motionless.

Akai took her eyes away from the blue but slightly cloudy sky to look at the blue Hakujoudai. Did these things act on their own or did Hanako command them to do everything?

Curiously she poked the blue orb a few times to revive no reaction. It was very soft and squishy, like a cold water balloon but not as dense. Then she had a thought, it might have been a bad idea but she couldn't think everything through, sometimes risks were fun too.

She picked up the blue Hakujoudai and squished it again before throwing it over the fence that kept the students from falling off the roof if they got too close to the edge.

Soon a white and blue orb came hurtling back at her. She put her hands out and caught it before it could slam into her chest. Ok now it was awake.

It's tail moved fluidly and it floated out of Akai's grip to hover in front of her. "Sorry i Just had to try it." She apologized in a hushed voice. The orb bopped her softly on the head in return
