Under the moon: Sugar rush part 3

Adam’s POV

Drew stood up and walked into the living room.

“Boys, get ready for bed!” Drew shouted loud enough for all of them to hear.

 Lyn and Kyu (The youngest ones of the group) walked up to Drew groggily. I knew they’d be the first to get tired.

“Daddy I’m tired.” Kyu said in a sleepy voice stretching his arms out, wanting to be picked up. Drew scooped him up and Lyn grabbed one of his legs.

“Adam, could you grab Lyn for me.” Drew said lifting his leg slightly.

“Sure.” I said removing Lyn from Drew’s leg. Lyn didn’t mind much as long as somebody was holding him. Jace and Alon ignored us and continued to jump on the couch.

“Boys get ready for bed.” Drew said sternly.

“But I’m not tired!” Alon complained, however Jace was looking kind of tired.

“Jace, go put your pajamas on please.” I said sweetly.

“Okay…” Jace said, getting off the couch and walking towards his room.

Drew grabbed Alon by the back of the neck (like mom cats do with their kittens) and Alon started squirming.

“But I’m not tired!” Alon whined loudly and kicked, trying to get out of Drew’s hold, but his effort was in vain because soon he was just as tired as the others.

“Lift up your arms.” I said to Lyn once they were all in their room, he did so and I slipped his shirt on. I picked him up off the floor and laid him on the bed with Kyu. Drew already had Jace and Alon dressed and was putting them on the bed with their brothers.
