Andrew’s POV

Joanne got the rest of them ready to go to sleep and when I cut the last strand of yarn and pulled it of Lyn he ran into my arms, he hadn’t stopped crying since we’d gotten home.

“I’m so sorry Daddy; I won’t play with yarn anymore I promise!” Lyn said, before continuing to cry into my shirt, I picked him up and he wrapped his arms around my neck and I carried him to his bed room.

After they were all asleep in their bed and Adam and I were in our bedroom, I pulled out a grocery bag from under the bed.

“What’s that?” Adam asked.

“A grocery bag” I said grinning at the sarcasm.

“What’s in the grocery bag?”

“Yarn”

“…What are you gonna do with it?” Adam asked, clearly annoyed by the idea of cutting all that yarn again.

“When I was little my mom taught me how to knit things, I still know how so I thought I’d knit them all blankets.”

“Doesn’t knitting take like a really long time?”

“Well nothing takes very long to do when you’re a vampire.” I said, already half way done knitting a small blanket.

“…You’re so sweet and calm all the time, even when our kids destroy the first floor, you somehow manage to not sweat it at all, and then knit them all their own blankets! You’re amazing, I love you.” Adam said kissing me on the cheek, I blushed and turned away fast, but he had seen it. He tilted my face towards him.

“Baby, why are you being so shy? You’re even sexier when you blush.” I blushed even more and kissed him.

I finished knitting a blanket for each of them by the end of the day, it was getting late and Adam said I needed rest, so I folded the blankets and put them on the desk in our room and got in bed with Adam.

“I love you.”

“Love you too, goodnight.”

“Goodnight.” Adam wrapped his arms around my waist and nuzzled my neck a little bit before going to sleep. After I was sure he was asleep from the sound of his heart beat and breathing. I gently got out of his hold, I grabbed the boys’ blankets and went downstairs and into their room, they were all fast asleep. I wrapped their blankets around each of them and went back upstairs and back to bed.
