Under the moon: Neko-sitter and yarn conflic

The next day

Adam’s POV

I woke up first and Drew and the kids were all passed out on the bed, snuggled up together, I took a quick picture then went downstairs to do some work.

I had heard that some people kept Nekos as pets and would hire neko sitters to watch their Nekos while they were busy, and thought maybe a neko sitter could help us with the boys, so I got on my computer and went to babysitters.com and found several neko sitters. I found one woman in particular who caught my attention, her name was Joanne, she was in her twenties, and had a lot of past experience with Nekos.

I contacted her and told her about my situation and she said she’d be more than happy to help, she even told me that she was a neko herself and that she had kittens of her own that died of a disease two months ago.

I told Drew everything and he was really happy about the whole thing. (Except for her kittens dying that made me sadL)

“I’m so glad you did this, I would have never thought to do something like this! They’ll be so happy, and they need a female role model in their lives, it’ll be good for them! But next time you go and make a huge family decision, tell me before hand.” Drew said, I agreed and we didn’t tell the kids so it could be a surprise.

When Joanne first came over the boys were overrun with joy and excitement. Drew and I went to the store and when we got back the boys were asleep around Joanne and she was petting their heads, they seemed so full of energy earlier, how on earth did she manage to get them to take naps?

“Do they take naps after they have lunch normally?” Joanne asked us.

“No, it’s hard enough to get them to sleep at night.” Drew said.

“Cats normally don’t sleep if they still have a lot of energy in them by the end of the day, I let them play outside in the backyard after they ate lunch and when they came back in they were so tired that they conked out on the couch.” Joanne said.

“Daddies is home!” Jace said tiredly, rubbing his eyes.

“You don’t have to wake up yet Jace, go back to sleep.” Adam said rubbing his head, Jace lay back down and went back to sleep.

“I gave them all baths too while you were gone.” Joanne said before leaving.

I picked Lyn up and played with his hair while he slept, his hair was so soft, they’re all so precious <3. Lyn eyes opened up and he smiled at me.

“I love you Daddy.” Lyn said.

“I love you too Lynie, guess what I got you boys at the store?”

“What?” Lyn asked curiously.

“I got you a bunch of yarn.”

“You got yarn?!” Lyn said excitedly, running up to the grocery bags and looking through them, trying to find the yarn. Adam picked Lyn up and put him back on the couch.

“Daddy, I want yarn!” Lyn whined.

“You can wait until tomorrow.” Adam said picking up the bag with the yarn and putting in on a shelf the boys couldn’t reach.

“Fine” Lyn grumbled, pouting and folding his arms.

“Lynie…?”

“No!” Lyn yelled at me and ran to his room.

The other boys had woken up and heard everything; they followed after Lyn and slammed the door shut.

“I’m going feeding.” I said in exhaustion.

“I’m going hunting.” Adam said in the same tired tone.

“You sure we should leave them here alone?” I asked.

“Yeah, they won’t leave their room anyways, and it’ll give them time to calm down.” Adam said, I nodded and we both left in different directions.
