chapter -5- FREINDS ..??

Abhimanyuu was driving his car back to his .. office .. the meeting started at a much awkward note but by the end of the meeting the awkwardness was mostly vanished ...
Mean - While dhruv was ranting the whole time about how reesha didn't let him go inside the meeting room and all the exchange of indirects n taunts they had .. which abhimanyu aced in ignoring ..

He then asked Abhimanyu about the meeting and how are they gonna work ahead .. to which abhimanyu had a simple reply ... "" dhruv i will be looking after this tie - up and it's each and every detail personally "" to which dhruv gave an understanding nod and continued his rant again...
While abhimanyu smiled a little having a flashback of half an hour ago :--

《《 "" alright so i am all up for this one of it's kind tie up mr. Birla .. "" stated akshara after listening and understanding the entire deal ..
"" i am glad that you are as interested in the deal as i am ..."" ( he said delightfully ) "" is there anything else that you want to know regarding the tie up "" ...continued abhimanyu
To which akshara replied...
"" not really but i actually want to understand the whole and soul procedure ... the needs and the qualities that you want to have in your employees so that we can design the software accordingly "" this statement made abhimanyu feel more sure about the tie up coz this was the first time in his career where he was feeling like the project is equally important and valuable for the the other company as well ..
"" sure miss goenka . Since we have good enough 6 months till placement.. i can arrange your on field case study sessions for that time being .. ""
To which akshara responded "" that will be great .. so can we start from tomorrow itself ..? "" she asked excitedly ..
"" sure !! Even i want this to start as soon as possible "" on which akshara glanced at him with a beaming smile ..

That smile was automatically reflected on abhimanyu 's face as well (out of his control)

"" alright so I'll meet you tomorrow at your office by .. 10.00 am "" said akshara to which abhimanyu nodded agreeing to it and both got .. up from there seats .. "" will take your leave now !!really Looking forward to work on this tie -up from tomorrow "" spoke abhimanyu and out of habit he streched his hand for a handshake but soon realised the previous encounter and made it into a fist indicating for a fist bump to which akshara giggled and mirrored his actions .. for their first fist bump ;) 》》

Next morning ... around 9.57 am

Akshara reached at the office of birla associates and asked the receptionist whom she has to meet regarding the tie up .. abhimanyu saw her on cctv from his cabin and before the receptionist had uttered anything... abhimanyu called her via .. telecom and instructed her ..to which she replied "" yes sir ""

She ended the call and behaved in the sweetest way possible with her and directed akshara her way to Abhimanyu's cabin ...

She entered the cabin still thinking why was the receptionist so extra sweet with her !! In her trail she didn't noticed when did her shoe lace opened and she slipped losing her balance ..

While abhimanyu got up from his chair to greet her but since she lost balance she tried to take his support by holding him but they both actually ended up falling over Abhimanyu's recliner and this time akshara was above a hard chiseled yet comfortable structure and as she opened her eyes they meet with those known pair of deep and dark gemstones... those raven eyes ... had their impact on her ... sending chills down her body ... the eyes of both didn't wanted to avert their gaze at any cost .. but a pop up on Abhimanyu's phone brought them back to earth ...

Akshara got up immediately... and adjusted her dress and hair and awkwardly looked here and there.. while abhimanyu got up and tried to avoid the awkwardness by checking out for the pop up on his phone which was a loan advertisement ::D ..
akshara finally spoke up .. "" I'm sorry i should have walked carefully... "" not meeting his eyes .. and abhimanyu replied "" even I'm sorry i should have helped you to regain your balance... instead of falling myself along with ... "" .. he said in one go and bited his tongue.. "" i mean .. you've understood na ... what i wanted to say " he asked sheepishly finally meeting his eyes with hers ...

And before the history repeats itself ... akshara spoke up ... "" i guess now the score is 1 all so let's focus on the main work "" she said in attempt of avoiding any tension again ...

Abhimanyu liked how witty she acted to avoid the awkwardness of the moment and affirmed her with a generous smile and a nod simultaneously...

They started their day with abhimanyu giving akshara a detailed explanation of their work ethics .. which really impressed akshara and .. she was more keen in knowing about the outlook of that company ... which impressed abhimanyu a lot ...

By evening they got done with there day 1 (including with some lame jokes and few chuckles once in a while .. )

This continued for a week..
She used to come and study the entire on field process along with abhimanyu all day and .. in evening she used to report her study an ideas about the software to abhimanyu(Including some secret glances , some uncontrollable giggles and regular fist bumps )..and then she used to leave ..

On the 7th day..(the leagal papers were ready by then so akshara got them with her in morning to abhimanyu)

They got seated in Abhimanyu's cabin ... and akshara showed him the legal documents for the tie up .. which both of them signed then and there..

"" so the tie -up is official now .. that calls for some celebration before we start our day ahead .."" said abhimanyu.. hoping to hear a yes ...

"" I'm sorry but it doesn't feels right .. you are my business partner in this tie up and my work ethics don't allows me for that "" said akshara explaining her dilemma..that made abhimanyu chuckle to which she gave a questioning look ..
"" i liked your professionalism miss goenka.. and i totally respect your work ethics "" akshara felt nice to know how understanding he was ... so she added then "" but .. at least we can have coffee party here in the office itself ... if not as colleagues then probably as..friends ..."" this time she forwarded her hand for a handshake that made abhimanyu smile as he felt accepted by her ...
He reached out his hand and copied her saying "" freinds !!"" Both chuckled!!
This was followed by ordering their coffee from nearby starbucks... and they enjoyed their selves ..

Alright so they are freinds now .. a bit awkward ones ... but they are freinds now..
