CAN I CALL YOU MINE !!

chapter -8- " understanding souls "

Now since it was clear with the news .. that .. neither akshara's cab would be able to come and pick her up ...nor did abhimanyu's car could move out due to the ruckus ..created in the the streets of Bangalore that night ...

Since the hours of birla associates used to be till 8.00 pm so most of the employees had already left for there respective living places and only akshara and abhimanyu were supposed to work till 9.00 pm .... So that he could help her do it in double pace and half the time ... Hence she won't had to stress over the tie up after returning to home ....

But... Little did they knew that this change in routine on its very first day will lead them to the situation they were stuck in at that time ..

They both were trying ...to get some idea via there contacts..that exactly by what timing the riots would get halted ..so that they can go back to there respective homes ...but .. unfortunately no one was giving a satisfactory and confirmed answer ...

It was 10 .00 pm. Already and considering the situation outside ... They felt it was of no use to try going out at least before 4.00 am .. tomorrow ..
"" Damn it none of them is giving a surity about the riots ... I'm just done mann ..""
Said abhimanyu ...quite irritated and agitatedly banging his desk from his fist .."" what's the point of hurting yourself due to this pity full situation ... abhimanyu .."" akshara tried to calm him down ...while taking his hand and checking if he got hurt ... Her touch for the second time in this same day ... Made him feel the composure and inner peace along with those unknown jitters ..which were new to him but somewhere he liked it as well ....
He landed back to earth when she shouted .."" oh god !! Abhimanyu ...""
She was looking at his palm with frightened eyes ... He looked at his fist which was bleeding ...as the pointed nail of the table made a cut on his palm when he banged it .... And then in his trance he didn't realised when it started bleeding ... She immediately called the peon for first aid box and did his bandage all by herself ... He felt valued and ecstatic when he saw care and concern in akshara's eyes for him .... She was repetitively asking him ""whether it's hurting much ...?? "" And all this made abhimanyu feel pleasured ...!!

Akshara didn't knew why she behaved so ...?
When she saw abhimanyu in pain .. ...
All that she knew was that she cared this much for any co - partner for the very first time.and she didn't regretted it at all ...

It was 10. 45 pm already
"" I don't think that the riots are gonna stop before 4.00 am so ... I guess you should take some rest till then or else your back would be stiffen by morning if you'll spend the rest of the night sitting on the chair like this ..."" Suggested abhimanyu ....

""I have a rest room adjacent to my cabin here ... It was built so that i can work for all night in emergency days .... But i never felt the need to use it ..but i guess everything happens for good,, I'll ask the peon to make your arrangement there ... Go get some rest !!""
He further added ...
Akshara was overwhelmed by these constant concern he was showing and efforts that he was making for her to feel comfortable in that tedious situation ....

She replied .."" you've been working since morning abhimanyu and you have got this bruise on your hand as well .... i feel you deserve the rest more than me for now ..."" both looked at each other ... With emmense care and disagreement for other one's discomfort ... Clearly visible on there faces ... When there eyes met they were no longer the part of this ecosystem, they were teleported to some dream land where peace was to breathe and silence was to be inhaled....

Akshara while being in that trance gave a thumb and nuckle press to her back ... Which didn't went unnoticed by abhimanyu and his sight follwed her hand movements .. analyzing that she is having back pain by sitting on that chair for so long to which he responded ..."" Alright I'll rest as well but first you get up and ease youself up ... You look much tired ... "" He said getting up coming near her chair and forwarded his hand for her to get up "".. and if you will still continue ranting over this i will immediately withdraw your involovement in the tie up no matter what loss i have to bear but i won't let you worsen your health more "" he concluded sternly ...... She affirmingly nodded with a sheepish grin and held his hand ..it sent jitters below their spine ... Again .. akshara sensed butterflies in her stomach but this time she didn't withdrew her hand ...she rather Walked with him ...

IN THE REST ROOM :

there was a queen sized bed ... A table and a recliner cum chair ..
And when akshara looked above ..it was a glass pane instead of a brick ceiling ..
Starry sky was looking stellar and sparkling .....

Abhimanyu .. understood by her expressions and before she could have uttered anything ... He spoke .."" you know ... i crave for starry nights in this busy city... I find peace while sleeping under the stars ... So ... ""

"" I don't know whether you'll trust me over this or not .... But I'm myself a huge - huuge astrophile (somebody who loves stars and galaxies )..."" She cutted him mid way while excitedly jumping on the bed to look at the stars ..

Abhimanyu was glad to know this similar intrest of theirs ...

(Little did he knew about the similarity in their destiny ahead )

Abhimanyu accompanied akshara in jumping and they both were standing on the bed to look at the stars more closely via the glass pane ...
Akshara was sharing her constillation's knowledge with abhimanyu while abhimanyu was keenly listening to her and was trying to steal a glance and half ( stealing sight for a split second longer than usual ) of this cute excited soul jumping besides him ...
Just then akshara's heel got entangled in the messed bedsheet ( all thanks to their jumping jacks )
Her ankle twisted and she was about to fall so she flickered her hands in air to reach out for some support while falling... And thankfully her hand reached out to abhimanyu's shirt ...but all thanks to abhimanyu's inattentiveness .... He lost his balance due to that pull and DHAM !! Both fell on the bed ..
Abhimanyu was lying completely over akshara ..
There noses were touching

Akshara squeezed her eyes shut !!....
And abhimanyu just didn't blinked even once as he was totally lost in her frightened yet exquisite and radiant face ....

She slowly opened her eye lids .. there gazes met and both locked each other's eyes ..... which were enticing , beguiling and captivating at the same time ... her hair strands were covering her face so he out of his will ....gently slided them behind her years ...sending jitters of pleasure down her spine ..and turning her cheeks pink

Akshara's pov ::

His trouffled hair was making him look more inviting .... our worlds were stopped ... i could sense our breaths intermixing at that moment.... but neither do i wanted to break the eye lock ... nor do he looked like in a mood to look away as well .... it felt as if we both were wanting this moment to stop here for eternity..... just then an unwanted knock was heard ....
( god why now ?)

We landed back on earth and figured out that it was the peon on the gate ... abhimanyu got up in no time and i sat straight...he opened the gate and permitted the peon to leave to his room ( yes they had a servant room in the office as well )
He came back and i was looking here and there ...

I know I'm late this time but it's longetivity might compensate for the delay !
