"" it's so good to be back in our old normal !... no..?"" said abhimanyu with a satisfactory sigh...as they walked down the street...hands inside their pockets... " it is indeed..." replied akshara...who was still busy in intaking the recently rare sight of busy bangalore ... meanwhile abhimanyu had an even better sight to behold that was walking next to him ;)
Both of them were initiating small talks...just to find excuses for drawing the attention of each other towards themselves even while they were walking... coz lately they won't accept it but they didn't wanted to feel that unknown void again which they experienced in the past three-four weeks in the absence of the other one. Hence were trying to intake as much presence of the other as they can ...as if they were trying to make it up for the time lost.....

"" NO serioussly....!! "" said abhimanyu between his chuckles....while having the last sip of his coffee...and probably hearing N³⁴⁷th rant of akshara over perils of working from home in past three weeks...not to forget the mischievous self deeds that she was narrating in between... "" Aksharaa...a... i have not met any.. other living species who is so insanely sane....""(both chuckle..)!
"" I mean i should definitely learn this art of attaining guilty pleasures in the tiniest of instances of life from you ...."" Said abhimanyu now with a more calmness and thoughtfullness in his tone...

"" you know ...my dad used to always teach me in my childhood that .... sometimes you need to just calm yourself and you just need to stop and feel satisfied wherever you are while experiencing these smiles we have been granted to cherish, by god !! "" Said akshara while focussing on the air between them....though nothing in particular...with a bit more serious albeit lost face...probably in the trance of her own thoughts....
Suddenly the room was filled with a coldness of rough air ...as if parting-cutting away the smiles which were occupying the entire cabin a few moments back .... Though abhimanyu's heart wanted to stay there for a lil more in her warm company....but his mind couldn't come up with any sane reason for him to stay any longer specially when he observed her now lost in her own company all of a sudden, though he suspected something off to her ... but he rather preferred not to question her as he doubted ...whether she'll be comfortable to share or not....or maybe he is just overthinking....
He cleared his throat to muster her attention from her pool of thoughts ... "" i guess i shall take a leave now ...office is reopening after a while ...so there's a lot more to be looked after and my presence would make it up for everyone over there "" he said with a generous smile ...getting up from his chair...
That's when akshara realised the situation she didn't wanted him to leave so soon... she wanted him to stay a lil longer (why ? And what excuse you will bring to make things work as you want ) chided her sub - consciousness
