CAN I CALL YOU MINE !!

chapter 10 - " I'M YEARNING FOR ..."

(Pre script :: do read the previous chapter if you haven't read it yet..!!)

It's been four days since the riots have started ... and all the offices , shops ,and govt. Offices have been ordered by the district magistrate to continue there work .. from home itself and entire city is under curfew ...

And hence by it's effect ... birla associates and hcpr pro. Both were working virtually ...since last four days ...

It's 7.00 pm

Abhimanyu was in his study room concluding his last meeting of that day ..he slammed the laptop flap close ....and leaned back on his chair closing his eyes .... and his mind as usual (since past 4 days) slipped into the memory of that last meet with akshara when he successfully dropped akshara before the riots restarted ...that day ...

Flashback ::--
Abhimanyu's pov :-

We both were silent throughout our journey while being lost in the our own thoughts .. till we reached akshara's apartment's parking ...

I stopped the car ... to be honest i wasn't wanting her to go .. i wanted her to stay a lil longer... to sit by my side for a moment and half longer ... i don't know why ...but i didn't wanted to feel that void of not meeting her daily ... to not being able to see her giggle and chuckle ... to not being able to feel those butterflies by those accidental touches of ours ... to basically not being able to feel her around .. for god knows how long ...

Akshara's pov :-

We reached at my parking lot .. the car stopped but neither he spoke a single word nor did i ...
Probably both of us were not willing to let go each other's company ... coz somewhere in past some time .. I had developed this habit of having him around me in my office hours ... secretly seeking his glances .. and those accidental trips and falls of ours ... (sigh)

Honestly , i was very much wanting to stay there only by his side ... feeling his presence and inhaling his cologne filled in the atmosphere of his car ...
I don't know what connection we had built in this short span of few weeks ...that .. was never felt before for any colleagues , buissness partners.. or any other freind of mine ...
But it was evident just in his presence ..

I was going through all these unknown emotions inside me ... and suddenly i felt his peircing gaze over me ...a gaze that was filled with fear about the yearning ... of this moment in the upcoming days ...

I gathered all my strength and looked back at him ... our eyes met ..and i could see his eyes mirroring the exact dillema that i held in mine...

I just got carried away in the moment and gave him a one way polite hug .. although i wasn't expecting any reciprocation and was about to run away from his sight in that second but his left arm encircled around my back and we shared a polite hug ... and I immediately got back into reality ...and i ran out of the car in embarrassment ... not giving him any chance to utter anything...

Abhimanyu's pov :-

We were looking into each other's eyes with .. same affection and suddenly she hugged me ... i was surprised.. and overwhelmed at the same time coz even i wanted to clung on her too , before i could come back out of my trance i felt her grip loosing and i immediately reciprocated that polite hug of her's and while i was still absorbing this moment i felt her freeing herself &... in no time she was out of my vision .... i so wanted to hold her close for a bit longer ... but why ? .. why was i being magnetised towards her ..? What is this un-named connection between us ..?
While pondering over this and while rejoicing his new found memories i drove back to my home ...

abhimanyu and akshara didn't had any word with each other in next four days
The online work was going on but majority of akshara's work was being handeled by reesha( her manager cum close freind ) and so was the case with abhimanyu ... dhruv ( his assistant and best freind ) was dealing the affairs on front foot ...

Coming back to present day ...

Akshara got a text from reesha ...
" The birla associates project is needed to be addressed by you AK ... I'm mailing you the complications I'm facing in their software design .. please get in touch with the consented authority there "

She checked her mail further and felt only abhimanyu can help her over this .. though she was avoiding having any conversation with him due to that day's embarrassment... but this was important and deep down she wanted to see and talk to him as well ...

It was 7.30 pm and she forgot all her fluster for some while and video called abhimanyu.... she could have simply called him as well but she didn't knew why she had this urge to have a glimpse of him ..

Here abhimanyu was in his trance memory of their last meet when .. his phone rang.. and he frowned initially but when he picked it up he couldn't believe his eyes after seeing the caller's name , and he immediately picked it up... he was lost in the sight on his screen ...
Meanwhile akshara's heart was pumped up in joy by seeing him after 4 days ( though virtually )..but she tried to be as formal as she could .

Finally .. akshara ... spoke up and abhimanyu landed on earth .. "" hey !! Good evening..."" she said .. with a formal smile to which he blurted out "" good evening...akshara ..!! ""
His husky voice sent down chills through her spine but she tried to pretend as if everything is normal ...and hence she went on continuing.."" a..actually i called you to discuss something urgent regarding the tie up ... "" ...
"" yes ..yes.. say na .. !! "" replied abhimanyu and then they discussed the complication further and after discussing for good 30 mins they finally concluded that ... since the proposed software of this tie up is in it's development phase so for it's customization and personalisation... abhimanyu's suggestions were required ... hence they decided to do some in person meetings .... but the question was how , when and where ...coz of the riots ...

Then akshara spoke up with some hesitation... "" if you don't have any problem we can hold the meeting at my place ... coz the entire software setup is here and the offices won't be opened...."" she was cutted through by an exclaim from abhimanyu .."" superb ..idea !! And in early morning i can come and do the the meeting and then would leave before 6.00 am ( timing of riots ) .. like we did that day ... . . " abhimanyu bited his tongue as this reminded both of them about that day's incident.. and both felt awkward as hell ...not looking face to face "" aa..aa. alright .i I'll meet you here tomorrow morning 4.30 am .. bye ..!! "" akshara blurted out in one go and ended the call ...and then started prepairing for tomorrow's meeting... still trying not to think about there last meet's incidents...

Here abhimanyu also started finalizing his choices & preferences for the software , that he will be presenting in front of akshara tomorrow... and then he fast asleep in excitement of meeting akshara tomorrow...

Alright so as promised here is the next update ...
But what do you guys think is gonna happen in that meeting tomorrow..
